Probably Breton as always. Although ironically the first character I played in Oblivion was a Nord Thief....I didn't really understand the concepts of bonuses etc.

Imperial first, then just for the sake of the game I'll play a nord on my second go. :shifty:

I usually play as a Nord first, because I like to play as 'me' for my first play through, and I look slightly more Nordish than lizard-like! The beast races have never really appealed.

My first character is usually whatever fits the atmosphere (dark elf for MW imperial for OB) So yeah my first character will be a nord.

Khajiit for me as I'll be recreating my favorite character I made from Oblivion.

Nord and Dark elf are my favourite races but since it is skyrim im gonna pick Nord.

I will probably play as a Nord (it's my go-to race), but if another race looks particularly spiffy, I might change my mind.

Yes, I also think the idea is a bit bland. I'm amazed that almost EVERYONE wants to play the exact same character.

I will be a dunmer battle-mage-type character first, then a nord warrior perhaps. It's weird, when I first started playing Morrowind I was almost always a nord, but then I started liking imperials so I became an imperial for Oblivion. Then one day I just decided dunmer were awesome, and ever since then I have played as a dunmer. I have also used khajiit and argonian characters from time to time.
