I'm reading a lot on this forum and it seems that a LOT of people are really getting into the whole nord atmosphere and feel. and this is awesome!
but i just want to see the amount of people planning on actually being a nord for your first character as opposed to something else...
i'm tossed between a Nord or Bosmer. (i like stealth...... but its Skyrim :shrug: )
but i have eleven months to decide!.....

high elf or khajiit for me depending on what kind of combat I'm in the mood for.

I will be playing a red guard for my first playthrough. Despite finding the lore and background of the Nords and their homeland very interesting, I have never had the inclination to play one, so i doubt I ever will actually play a Nord in Skyrim.

Assuming the skyrim magic system is way better than the oblivion one, I Will probably start with the breton mage, I like the magicka resistance. It's really satisfying to create a long-term mage character and try to get yourself to the maximum level. I really do hope magic is better than it was in Oblivion, a good magic system makes it very worthwhile to create some sorcerer sort of character. I don't know about you guys but I want to create some absolutely absurd spells when Im at a very high level, being a sorcerer ain't much fun if you can't create any really powerful spells after you invested all that time in getting your skills up.

Morrowind really went all out with the magic variety, I hope it's the same in skyrim.

I don't think I've played as a Nord yet. I'll write that down to a lack of proper "tickling the knees" beard...

I always play female character and I'd probably pick a dunmer or breton.... but from what I saw a male nord is tempting.... pure barbarian style.

Nope I will not be playing a Nord, Imperial here.

I plan on playing my Imperial character first. Have three planned out so far, which I posted in another thread.

Ill prolly play a Dunmer though a Nord would feel right for this game

To be honest, I'm more of a dog person yet I always choose cat based people in games.

I will be a Nord for sure. Frosty will return to his homeland after living agelessly in the Isles for so long.

I always play a Nord, at least until I mod me a new race

I'll make a Nord at some point but Dark Elves are what I enjoy being the most.

I've played as a Nord my first character since Morrowind..and I aim to continue this great tradition!
