What Will You Do When TESV is Announced?

Post » Sat Sep 11, 2010 12:03 am

I will be very excited, preorder the game, then go on with my life until it's announced, trying to avoid spoilers.

Pre-order, and perhaps go to the store and buy some fish sticks.

Well first I will [censored] myself with the power of a thousand lactose intolerants after the National Moofest Dairy Festival, then I will start feverishly upgrading my computer.

I'd be all calm and be like thats cool, then I'd take a nap, wake up in an hour to make sure it wasn't a dream or cruel sick joke, and if it wasn't I would scream in a joyful manner unable to contain my excitement. Then I would be stuck waiting for its release absorbing everything about it from the second it is announced to its release (to which I would have made a preorder for the most expensive edition there is of it) until I finally get it in all of its heavenly (delightful not divine) glory.

Go into sensory overload over the sheer amount of euphoria apon learning of the announcement and quite possibly go insane. Basically I would then begin preparations to the purchase and time spent playing it.

Little

I'll be excited, but I never get time to play games as soon as they come at these days. It'll be more being happy that it's actually coming out but nothing major

Bought New Vegas a week after it came out and I still haven't found the time to play it properly

I'll react like the guy in the "Double Rainbow" video reacted. I'll be amazed, then eventually break down and cry from the sheer joy of finally having an Elder Scroll in my future.

I will likely act as my normal self in every single way. But that's basing my actions on the assumption that I will not be at my computer, surfing Beth's forums at that precise moment, so I probably won't know. Once I do find out, I will nod in satisfaction and begin plotting for a new computer as I'm confident my current one will be woefully inadequate.

Other.

I'll poke around the website and see what the developments are, then determine if I'm impressed by TESV or disappointed.

If I'm impressed I'll jump for joy and pre-order as soon as possible. :P

Well, for the first day: spend the whole day posting and lurking on here, and looking at sites about it online. Also telling all TES fans that I know about it.

Faint from amazement, then write to Unexplained Mysteries telling them they can finally cross unexplained phenomena number 7 off their list of the world's greatest mysteries. The one called TES 5 that sits between the Loch Ness Monster and Big Foot. Because there is finally conclusive evidence that TES 5 does actually exist.

I'll be happy to see that the game "officially exists", but it won't really affect me until it's released after another year's wait or longer. Besides, after the last installment, I'm going to wait at least a week past the release date to see how a few of the posters I most respect react to it. If the concensus is that it's an improvement over OB in terms of RP, with "choices, consequences, and failure", then I'll pick up a copy with as much haste as I can manage without a total loss of dignity; otherwise I'll hold off on buying it until it hits the budget bin a year or three down the road.

Go to work, find the medieval hat/mask thing in the toys dept, and walk around, finding random guests and saying "STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM!" or instead of the usual mumbojumbo, tell people while working in electronics to "Have a look at my wares"

Personally im going to do a Dragon Break:
Bounce of the Walls!
Go insane!
Jump for joy!

And then Akatosh goes and party′s and this happens:

Go on through your life as if it didn't affect you...

Which can propably be translated into:

Other....

I'd probably start saving bigtime for a new computer. This old Daedric Desktop of mine has been in use since the release of TES4 ;)

If it's multiplatform I think our old TES4 rigs will have no trouble with it -.-
