I'll continue playing Morrowind and Daggerfall until other people have actually played it, so I can read what fans say on the forums.

If I'm convinced that it isn't just another dumbed-down insult, following in the trend of Oblivion, then maybe I'll buy it.

More likely, however, I'll wait for my brother to get bored of it, then borrow the game disc from him, just like I did with Fallout 3.

On the other hand, I'm pretty interested to see what TaleWorlds comes out with next. I've also been looking into independent developers. You know, gamemakers who haven't sold out yet.

Your talking like the series is yours, because its not. Bethesda can do what ever the hell they want with THEIR Games. You can take it or leave it.

As for me, hmm, hound UESP, Bethesda Blog, The Elder Scrolls.com, and the Forums to get a look at features and stuff.

I'd order a pizza and camp here. :)

I bet the posting rate in threads like the speculation one and the suggestions will be at least x5 what it is now.

I will praise the fact that both the speculation thread and the suggestion threads will be obsolete and new threads will be built on conjecture with some facts to work with, so I will probably begin speculating in those! I will also sacrifice a few kittens... they have it coming... :)

My Squeedometer will break past Beatles fan level when I hear of the game's announcement, then I will obsessively play Oblivion until it does.

I'll either literally jump right through the roof of my house, or my head will implode from the sheer hype overload. Or possibly even both.

Seeing as we're going to get six years of these comments once the game comes out, irrespective of the quality of the game, can we please leave them until we actually get the game?
Anyway, to be on-topic, I'll spend most of the day looking at every tid-bit of the announcement, and spending every other second telling people about it. :goodjob:

It doesn't say that it's the Elder Scrolls, though, it just says its an unannounced title that they're working on. Not that I'm saying I doubt it's an Elder Scrolls title, I'm just saying they didn't actually say it is.

Anyway, I'll be really pleased when the Elder Scrolls V is announced, then I'll probably look on these forums regularly, post in vaious topics about it (What my posts will say will depend on what we learn.), and try to hunt down all the information I can find, I've been hoping to hear about a New Elder Scrolls game for a long time now and when I do, I certainly won't ignore the news.

Selbeth, I believe that is the shortest post of yours that I've ever seen. You don't need many words to say you'll love the event, I see. :P

In short, I agree. :foodndrink:
