Polls, I hate polls.

Why every thread needs a poll? You will never be able to guess what someone is going to do, because the options and possibilities are near infinite. My first 5 hours will be playing and enjoying the damn game!

My first 5 hours in Oblivion, pretty much just consisted of getting out of the dungeon, go to the Imperial City and talk to people. I'm sure it will be something similiar in Skyrim, I will just go to the nearest town and talk to everyone.

So nothing in the poll suits me :P

To be honest i'll probably end up making many characters till I get one perfect in the first hours as well.

Yeah, thats why I wasn't planning on counting the "Introduction" part of the game. :happy:

If anything like Morrowind or Oblivion it will take me that long to get through the Character development stage and get a half decent looking character with decent skills lol.

Classes are out, so that is no longer an issue. Chargen is easy for me because I'm either going to be a sterotypical (read:random) Nord or a funky colored Khajiit. A character that looks like the techno viking would be epic,

Explore, unless every dungeons/caves are filled with high leveled enemies.
If so, I'll do main quest.

The more I think about it, the more I think I won't do the MQ on my first character. So I'll probably just drift around, do some side quests I come across, explore...

Generally follow the main quest, but will be happily distracted by everything else Skyrim has to offer :happy:

Stumble around blindly trying to figure out what direction I'm going, get killed by a rat because I can't understand the controls. After that embarrassing learning experience, scope out the best places to rob.
Also I'll probably go around to all the major cities to level lock the dungeons around them, so I don't have ravenous abominations waiting for me when I leave the city gates at higher levels. I was once ambushed by a Minotaur Lord directly outside the north gate to Chorrol. Never again. >:{
