What will your character be like in Skyrim?

Post » Thu Mar 31, 2011 1:48 am

If everything was the same as oblivion.

For me, I'll choose Dunmer (unless the 10th race in Skyrim will be better for me?) whom is a combat/magickal type. My birthsign will be either the Lady, Lover, or Ritual.

The races are the same from the previous ones, there is no new "10th". Unless by that you mean Redguard, which you left out.

I love the dark elf so that's what i will chose. I will be a archer with a shortsword or a dagger. I will kill everyone in silence.

An Argorian warrior that's combative and stealthy. I just want to be able to kill things fast so I'll be less concerned with magic. But I will still focus on all classes, with stealth and combat being the two major ones.

Is it confirmed that birth signs are actually in Skyrim?

Im a mage. I used to play stealth, but I've been in love with mage characters since Hexen.
So thats Brenton - Magicka - Mage

Although im going to do a Nord Barbarian run. Removing my beloved Mysticism skill is gonna ruin my mage experience (maybe)
And im sure the combat will be way more fun.

My first character will be a Nord with a combat specialization with either The lady, The Ritual, or The Warrior.

So now that you know what the 10th race is does it affect your race choice?

Nope, hurhur.

I like how nobody picked Redguard/Orc. My first Character in Oblivion was a reddy, and I never knew how bad he was until I tried the Breton.

1st char: Nord Warrior
2nd char: Dunmer assassin
3rd char: Dunmer or Nord Mage

then theres probably going to be about 60 more char's after those three that experiment with mixing magic combat and stealth :P

I have no idea yet! I think I'll need to see what's been reworked and see based on that.

Generally I play Dunmer or Imperial Mages/Warriors though. I'm pretty vanilla with my character types. :P

I hope they revert to the advantage/disadvantage system that was in Daggerfall, or have it in addition to the birthsigns.

I imagine most will use some permutation of combat and magic, or combat and stealth, etc., for their first playthrough, rather than focus on only one of the three exclusively.

Interesting how you people like Nords so much. Fitting for Skyrim, yes, but I've never liked the Nord class.

I'll go Nord. I normally play a Nord in anything TES, though I do branch out with other characters. And I'll play a sort of brooding, sober, shrewd individual who will help those who need it but will bring death upon those that cross him, and even betray if it means saving my skin . . . okay so I read Howard. Sue me, heh.

Socially awkward Argonian born under the thief, who is stealth based.

I like to make more unusual characters that are a bit outside their norms... like a Argonian that's a bit of a tank/melee fighter type, who is generally law abiding and helpful. Or a High Elf who is a bit of a stealthy thief/assassin.

A Breton, most likely female. I'll use a mixture of magic and combat, and the Lord as a birthsign.
