So what will be your dum stat this time around?

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 12:09 pm

All my builds are always the same. I always put a point in STR then I make CHR and AGL my stronger stats with INT being at least better than my STR.

My dump stat may be LCK this time around, though. I'm actually kind of unlucky in reality so it would be fitting. Plus it would increase difficulty even more as I'm planning on playing on Very Hard as well.

Increased difficulty is always a good challenge as long as the enemies aren't bullet sponges and one shot killers like in Skyrim Legendary.

I will try to keep them all even early on, but with what looks like that we are leveling our SPECIAL stats, I plan to focus on Intelligence and Luck mainly.

Probably ST. I like being a tanky utilitarian, so END and INT are going up... but it will be tricky maintaining CH, PE, and LK too, since they'll all be useful for my build. Gods be praised we'll be able to bump up our SPECIAL.

Endurance; useless for a stealth character. If I get caught, I will die.

I've never used that Perk before to be honest, what is it like having most of the low end creatures as non hostile?

I'm sure it's less annoying having the vicious dogs and molerats and such not attacking you every five seconds. I never take that perk because I like having the Yao Guai attack me. They can be scary coming at you at night!

It's nice actually. Gives a bit of gentle serenity while maintaing life in the Wasteland. Once watched a pack of molerats travel around for about an in game day.

Part of the reason I take it is because I don't like having to kill dogs. It feels icky. Plus, there's a bit of schadenfreude that comes from going against people who use attack dogs and suddenly seeing their companions turn on them.

And then there's this. 70% of the motivation for taking this perk is to avoid having to deal with Yao Guai. All of my characters died in their first encounter with Yao Guais because I never saw them coming until they had eaten my face.

And even though it didn't work on Yao Guai, I found it to be an equally considerable godsend in New Vegas to not have to worry about Night Stalkers. They always seemed to I've me more trouble than I expected.

All S.P.E.C.I.A.L start with 1 point in them so how will you dump a stat?

By pulling points that could have gone into it and putting them elsewhere. You can't have a 0, but the average would have been 4, so which one(s) are you going to pull points from to buff other stats?

I am going to focus on Charisma, Perception and Agility for a dead eye sniper, with a little bit of bit smooth talking.

each to there own, personally I find its impossible to not be caught at some point, so a decent endurance is good to have when you do.

I think it's all going to boil down to looking at the Perks chart and figuring out exactly which one's I want to have on my first few level-ups. Then build my SPECIAL accordingly.
