What will be your Fighting style?

So what do you prefer using, I personally prefer playing a mostly mage character and using a blade to deal damage once my magika runs low, so I will likely play something like that in Skyrim.

Definitely sword and shield. I figure a good shield is going to be pretty important in the new combat. Especially since I can't just backpedal away from my enemies anymore. :)

Mage. I'll use my tri attack spells. IE In oblivion, 100pts Damage with 3 elements, and weakness to magicka. All for 5 seconds.

I always try different combos of the three major focuses before I figure out which suits me best. In oblivion, I preferred a battlemage type character; melee supplemented with debilitating and damaging spells with some conjuration thrown in when things got rough. It was pretty sweet.

Any heavily armored warrior with spellcasting powers and a good cause may call himself a Crusader. Crusaders do well by doing good. They hunt monsters and villains, making themselves rich by plunder as they rid the world of evil.
The MW description of the Crusader class covers the basic of my favored playstyle: heavy armor, heavy weapons and magic :cookie:

Perhaps just a single-handed longsword. No magic, no shield.

If spears or something like it is in then that. Otherwise something with swords, probably two of them I'm interested in seeing how this dual wield turns out.

Try whatever I want until I fine my niche, even after that I'll probably mix it up.

Probably a sword and shield unless they have spears, then a spear and shield... I wonder if you will be able to place the shield on your back whilst wielding a two handed weapon...

Berserker Style mostly. Will probably make use of spear type weapons heavily if they're in, hammers, axes, and longswords (mix em' up) if not.

Long range marksman or sneaking with a blade. Depending on the circumstances.

I'll try to be a stealthy character. Meaning bows, illusion, light armor, restoration etc..

agreed + a bow. Might also give spellcasting a try depending on how they reworked the gameplay mechanics (dual wielding spells sounds cool)

My character is going to a stealth oriented character. I'm going to try to duel-wield shortswords, use bow for taking down powerful enemys ( especially mountain giants( I don't know how thats is going to workout  ), and use speechcraft to manipulate npcs.

In oblivion I'd use a long blade in tandem with Destruction spells. While the opponent is in your face, it's basic melee. If he tries to back down for a better position, you hit'em with a fire bolt. That way he never gets any slack :chaos: .
Will probably use the same technique in Skyrim with the addition of switching to dual wield long blades once magicka is drained completely. Here's hoping weapon blocking won't require you to know how to use a shield

I usually do multiple playthroughs using variations of the 3 core classes, just to see all the game has to offer.

On my first pass though I think I'll be a thick skinned 300 pound beast of a nord with a heavy hand but a soft heart. Orphaned at a young age he was taken in by a group of monks and taught how to focus the power of both body and mind to dispatch evil at will. He''ll be proficient in muliple schools of magic and deadly in hand to hand melee combat; wrestling dragons to the ground with his bare hands. :stare:

It depends on what kinds of skills are available in the game. I hope they just tie the two armour classes into one. If they do that, I'm going with the agile blade slinger type character. It would involve using your quickness and movement to beat your enemies, rather than brute force. His race would most likely be Redguard, Wood Elf, or Imperial. It will most likely be Wood Elf, that way I can get some rnaged type weapons involved.

For his weaponry, he would be a dual wieder, using a dagger in the left hand, and a short-sword in the right. His armour would be light(medium if it is included), I would prefer this so he could stay light on his feet, and actually be able to move while having protection.
