I roll quite a few characters when i start. This time t'will be a buff, older, male, axe wielding nord, a thin, young, female, marksman, bosmer and a fat, really old, male, sneaky khajiit.

20 year old Dunmer woman, pure two-handed mage. Maybe specilyzing on illusions + destruction. Mages go forward))

I'll be role-playing a Dunmer, sentenced for hanging for acts of theft and a notorious pirate. My character will be in his late 20's, and will generally wield two swords (katanas preferably). He will be rough looking, with high speech-craft and mercantile traits - and quite sneaky with a lock-pick too. And a bit of an illusionist.

I'm going to play as a snooty Altmer pure mage, I think. Just to take in the Nord racism in its entirety.

Imperial and a female knight, most likely.

I'll be a Nord named Folkvar (Norse meaning "Guard of the People")
Hazel eyes.
Brown, medium long hair.
Bad-ass attitude.
Uses longswords, war axes and a shield.

Badass khajiit thief, 20+ age, slim, quick, good with bow and poison.

And an all rounder Dunmer named Aaros Indoran

Twenty five year old Nord specialising in axes. Silvery hair, green eyes. Doesn't talk much. Prefers mead.

A fine sixy wood elf

Probably a male Nord with emphasis on medium/heavy armor, blunt weapons, and blacksmithing/armorer skill.

Male Bosmer named Lan. He's in his late twenties. He's primarily a thief that uses a bow and dual daggers. Stealth is his way of life. He'll exclusively be using Alchemy to make all sorts of poisons.

He's a neutral type character that will be joining the Dark Brotherhood as his first guild not because he wants to be some evil murdurer, but that he strives to be a trained assassin and use his skills for the common good once he gets his training from the guild.

As for why he's in jail at the start of the game; He was an outcast from his homeland of Valenwood for various reasons and was forced to flee to Skyrim. He gets there with no food or money and is forced to steal. He notices a nearby camp and and makes his move, stealthily moving from shadow to shadow. He gets inside a tent and there upon him was a mutton on a table. He instantly grabs it right at the moment when a guard walks in. The guard raises an alarm and Lan puts an arrow through his throat. However, the other guards of that camp rush in and instantly captured him. They assumed he was on the Rebel side of some Civil war that Lan had no knowledge of, so they sent him to jail with a death warrant over his head.

Mine will be a Khajit, ever since seeing the first screens of them I'd thought that they looked really cool.
He will be more of a rogue/Stealth/Ranger character as I've heard bow and arrows are more powerful in Skyrim.
I'll name him J'Dakkha. I like the name very much personally, probaly because I thought of it.

For me, i've never played as an old guy. In Oblivion i played as both a Redguard and a Nord, and i found the Nord a lot more fun.

In skyrim i was kinda thinking of an old, white-bearded, hybrid. Who uses sword and magic in the other hand. Probably going to be Nord.

Edit: Also really want fishing to be in the game, that would be awesome. And not just a 1 or 2 fish, more like 10 different kinds. I really hope that makes it in the game.

I imagine him to look like Gandalf.

Think I might do a character like that as well.

I won't know the race until I play the game, I usually choose that on the fly. But I will be melee most likely, maybe with a side of bow. Whether it's two hand or sword and board I don't know yet. My first character usually always ends up being a hybrid between magic, ranged and melee. But I'll probably try to focus on 1 or 2 rather than all 3.

Young female red argonian, stealthy and clever. Using daggers if I can!

Haven't put much thought into this, and whatever I say here probably won't hold up when I actually get the game in my hands, but judging by my past, I'll go through several test characters until I get the hang of things, then use the experience/accumulated knowledge to put together a character best suited for stomping anything I come across into dust. From there, I'll ignore the Main Quest for months, mostly exploring and doing faction/miscellaneous quests. If the volume of dragons is considerable enough, I'll probably end up slaying a few. But for some time, I doubt I'll actively hunt them.

Perhaps after nearly a real-life year has gone by I'll tackle the Main Quest, then the MQs of the expansion packs. I'll either hate them and never do them again no matter how many characters I go through, or love them and start new characters specifically so that I can enjoy them again. And tear through them more quickly.

Having said all that, or typed it rather, I'm liking the sound of putting together a hot, strong Nord chick who hunts for gems in pools of frozen water and hacks monsters to pieces with an axe almost as big as her.

Yeah, that sounds cool...

A young Nord that was abducted as a child during a raid on his clans camp. Having lived a rough life as a slave, he has seen the shady corners of Tamriel. Finally he escaped his slavers and was once again captured by the authorities, acused of assault and attempted murder on his slavemasters.

If they make Nord's as powerful in Skyrim as they did in Oblivion, I am definitely picking a Nord again. 65 in Strength and Endurance at level 1 made my guy a tank.

I will most likely be an Altmer. I will be a full blown mage that can use magic to adapt to any situation.
