I have no problem with the HUD, but with the controls for it. (on PC, that is) You can't use WS to move up and down in a list, because it switches the tabs instead (AD scwiteches the sections and that is OK). I have to use mouse to select the items...

As for the compass, I have already disabled it in the INI and haven't you people mentioned it, I would say it was never there:-)

The thing is though that in those games like Wolfenstein and Dishonored it has a very clear and thought out story and good gunplay, essentially it is meant to be play on it's own and vanilla, but the price of having a overall better story and game play is the very linear story, which reduces replayability of the game as well as the longevity, so it is a really good game... For a single playthrough. after that though their is very little incentive to go back. FO and Elder scrolls on the other hand are built to have a pretty shallow story and basic game play as a price for a whole lot of freedom and role playing ability. It wants you to try and make your own story. And very many people achieve this through tweaking their game themselves or looking at what others have done, aka mods. So it is actually not too inaccurate to consider games like FO and Skyrim "sandboxes" in the sense that they are actual built to be molded by the player, where as dishonored and wolfenstein are meant to be play like any other game is, by the "rules" put in place by the developer.

Holy [censored] I had no [censored] idea I could explain something so well and in so much detail.

Thank you for taking time to explain it. Still play wolfenstein games including the recent ones like New Order and Old blood, their fun fast games to play. Hmmm sandbox, that sounds fun was debating on not playing the game until mod support, but it seems a good idea may be to play the game find out what a person likes then get mods for a follow up playthrough is the best strategy?

The only reason I replayed Dishonored was to get a perfect score in stealth as well as to see the ending in both "nice" and "chaos" forms. Since then I haven't reinstalled it.

you can hardly compare Wolfenstein to Fallout?

Wolfenstein is a linear (great) game with a few levels that you finish in somewhat 7-15 hours

that's maybe 3-5% of the actual size of the Fallout world and the content, that they had to fill the game with

Not gonna read all that...

But my guess is a lot of fanboyz are crying about CoDoodie 3 being 2nd/3rd to Fallout 4...

Haters gonna hate.

Hey, I put a lot of effort into actually trying to not only mentally think all of that out, but physically type it as well.

The least you could do is read it. :sadvaultboy:

Hmmm think wolfenstein is alot bigger checking the file size of new order it says 45gb while Fo4 is only 25gb making it half the size of Wolfenstein.

Bigger filesize does not equal bigger world or longer campaign. I have New Order and it felt short to me.

The reason the file is smaller is because Bethesda tries very hard to compress files in games like FO and the elder scrolls, and they are actually pretty damn good at it. Wolfenstein and stuff they don't try very hard, and it still has more numerous small things that while small, still take a whole lot of space, like audio clips and cutscenes. Something that Fallout and stuff lack.

I'm wondering just how big the 13.5GB texture files will be unpacked. Over half the installed size is the texture archives.

I personally don't know, but I must admit the textures in the game are actually quite bad in some instances. The better animations and overall effects like lighting help make it much less noticeable and much better than it actually is. But if you actually take a really close look at the textures on the vault security armor worn by the guards at the beginning of the game and you will see that you can nearly make out the individual polygons, but for the most part the the others armor's are not that bad.
