I'm reading a lot of hate for this game and i can understand the glitch factors but in gen the basis for most of the complaints are all thing that will be addressed

It's bad over on the Bnet forums when people bring this game up. Most of the people who hate on haven't played or can't see the game for what it is. I personally think it was a great sequel, the story for singleplayer was amazing and full of jaw dropping moments with the set pieces. Multiplayer is fun too, the only gripe I have for the game is the multiplayer spawns and matchmaking. But hopefully Crytek looks into them and releases a patch at some point. In the mean time I'll keep playing though this game is just fun!

yeah man i agree it's just a bunch of complaints about people that either cant play the game how it was intended to be or to stupid to realize that they need to have decent hardware or up to date drivers or so on

anyway the game is epic and very well made and tops the first one by a long shot

and for the norm bugs that ALL games have

1. They refuse to make any official statements
2. There is no DX11 as of now
3. The MP is console mp
4. The suit is a console suit
5. The graphics are console graphics
6. There is no editor
7. No SDK
8. Console commands are worthless now
9. They tried to lock the community out of modding the game
10. There are 3 graphics presets
They pretty much said screw the PC community....

As for the other points, 6-8 lead to 9, moron. They did try to lock the community out of modding. 40-something CVars (the ones that still work, not the thousands from the demo) do not qualify as "modding".

This is the thing that annoys me the most. Why is armor mode so slow and heavy? Why is Strength and Speed Mode combined? Why can't you sprint without using 'Power' Mode? --Why is Nanosuit 1 more advanced and better-looking than Nanosuit 2???? Why are suit controls only 2 buttons? It used to take skill to change suit modes quickly during battle, now it's just press Q or E.... wtf... I guess you could still use the middle click to change suit modes but wtf is the point when they only let you control 2 suit functions and everyone will use the key bindings anyway..

And the multiplayer? Claustrophobic as hell... No vehicles? Where's my VTOL?!?!?... Where is Power Struggle?... the best game mode amongst every single FPS game out there...

it's all time the same **** ... both are big complainer (don't know if this word exist, don't care) in so many threads ... rerun over rerun, ignoring everything else, like a scratched record ... it seems, little short of, that these guys earn money for that, perhaps from DICE ... who knows

PS: this is no console suit ... lol what a **** ... I played the same settings in Crysis 1 + WARS ... and the combinations of power/speed and cloak/speed are great, a fantastic improvement. And what's up for the rest, you can tweak your suit in uncountable ways ... so stop complaining and explore this game that you are knowing what you are talking about .... SDK-> release in summer ... DX11->release this week

i think the emphasis isnt on the key presses now its the timing and balance of use of the suite

dont get me wrong im not saying the game is perfect atall becouse it needs work on the mp but thats what updates are for and they are working on it

The mac argument is pretty simple... only console players would have a mac when they could buy a PC for half the price that performs better and they could get away from console noobs on.

and don't forget mac is a working-station too, working with an windows PC is burning money

Macs are overpriced and restricted. I go to a VFX school and no one uses the Macs there because you can hardly do anything on it. Even companies in the professional industry, like Dreamworks use Windows workstations. Windows handles games a lot better as well, hardware is easily upgradeable. And with the money you spend on a Mac you could custom build a better Windows desktop. You cannot freely change out parts whenever you want, might as well be using a console... The only good thing you can probably do with a Mac is run Windows on it, other than that you can't do **** so stfu

The PC community is not whining they have actual good complaints, especially when we talk about playing the actual game. I have not had a solid experience on multiplayer due to login issues and extremely long load times. There is nothing wrong with putting Crysis on console and I wish I would have purchased the game on console instead of PC because of these issues but Crytekhas a fan base in the PC community and they have released a product that has not lived up to the hype. If the game is playable on multipayer alot of people would not complain but its frustrating that you purchased a game that gives you so many issues.

1 Extremely long load times in multiplayer
2 glitches that makes my gun go off on its on in singleplayer which causes me to startover.
3login issues even with the patch installed.
4 have to manually install the patch, they cant even give you an automatic install.
5 when finally in multiplayer the game will occasionally crash.

This is not complaints, this is genuine concerns that Crytek is telling the PC community to just be patient. Horrible customer service.

u know nothing about macs ... I can freely change everything ... but what should I change? I have 8 Cores 2,8 GHZ an 14 GB RAM since 3 years and that's enough for at least the next 5 years, that are at least 8 years spending no money for upgrades on my PC and have still a high-end rig ... and Dreamworks is a reference, lol, I can also count many professional industry using Macs ... but anyway ... I have my Mac and you have your Windoof

Thing is that mac of yours probably cost around $5000+ when we could build an equivalent or better PC for half the price, overclock it, choose our motherboard, power supply, case, graphics card, and add other things freely. Hell, I could build a system and outperform yours for around 1,000-1,500.

I don't care for the price ... I'm earning money ;P

But I know all the build my pc **** .... I have done that too ... and every time there is anything you have to watch, code something, replace and so on ... I have no pleasure for that anymore ... I buy my high-end quality rig (money is no point) and have fun for about 8-10 years, OK every 3-4 years a new graphic card and nothing more .... easy live, I love it!

Otherwise I earn my money with it ... and rendering some graphics and pictures I do, Is much faster as with any PC I worked with ... Mac rules ;P
