i am at 100k and i feel your pain. I go on ingredient sprees and i buy skills. That about all i can do with my money, selling and looting things has become a waste of time.

Things we need to be able to spend money on

Relearn a perk for x gold. like 5k this will still cause playersd to care what they do with their perks but at higher levels if we hate the two handed tree and want a dual wielding character we do not have to wait 40 more levels with x wasted perks or spend 40 more hours on a new character.

More mount types or new horses. i will drop 20k on a horse if it has unlimited sprint. i would easily aspire to earn 500k if i could buy a dragon mount, and because a horse can talk you to the tallest peak of any mountain then it really dose not matter if you have a flying mount, just create an invisible wall so you cannot land it in town.

Larger investing amounts, i want to be able to invest 5k not just 500. I can make a bow i can sell for 6666... no one has that much gold.

Castles, new homes, soliders/guards for my castles... let me buy

Their are so many simple things that could be done with money but beth seems to thing were never going to get that much.

Killing bandits is for the game combat. What games are about. Dragon souls are to get dragon shouts. Thus improving my characters attacks. House? What for? Does it provide a special attack of some sort? Or special armor?

It gives you a place to store all that "special armor" for one. Also it is possible people are playing this game to do more stuff than just kill bandits.

I don't know why people are dignifying him with a response tbh. He doesn't want to spend gold on items, crafting, or houses - so cannot see a need for gold!

Houses are for secure storage. That's it. And that is what the gold is primarily for. I don't trust any other containers -- not even the ones given by factions. I only trust the containers in purchased properties.

What to do with gold?? Buy ebony ingots and leather strips. Craft cool weapons and armor. Then throw on Cicero's clothe's, your "merchant's amulet", and the Daedric masque for bigger profits.

Seriously, there is nothing to do with septims. Your amount of gold only matters during the early stages for outfitting your character and such. Beyond that, nothing. You don't have to loot or pillage. You don't have to sell your loot either.
