I am about to go back to an earlier save, and force everyone in vault 101 to abandon it, but at this point I notice the following:

*Your Pops bails, and Amata is the one to come and tell you you gotta leave too.

*Amazingly - Amata is able to go to the exit from the vault and say goodby, reinforcing your need to get out.

*Nothing bad ever seems to really happen to Amata...

Amata sends out a distress signal much later and guess what?

* Amata is the nominal leader of the Rebels, and the OTHER leader (the school teacher) has been captured by her dear old Daddy...

* Amata is amazed to see you, and wants YOU to fix everything - but not wax her Pops no matter what...

* That stupid poser Butch is in the vault and is one of the Rebels, but NOWADAYS he's a (f)ing hairdresser

* All of a sudden Butch has grown brand new balls after giving you the leather jacket off his back last time you saw the [censored]

(Giving you the impress that since he was too wussy to fight roaches, ya whatever)

* Butch wants YOU to make it possible for HIM to go out of the Vault so that he can have his very own badasser than ever gang again...

* Apparently you ain't a prospect for the new gang, yeah well sorry about that...

You know what?

Ya know what I seriously think about all this, and what I would assume if it was all happening in real life?

1) Amata has always been a tool and a player on her fathers side, lets state that at once. It's a "GOOD COP/BAD COP" routine

2) Amata has been BANGING BUTCH ALL ALONG - yer damned right! That's what it looks like to me, and that is how I interpret it.

3) Butch is a mindless easily controllable dummy and always has been

4) Amata is a control freak - possibly a sociopath - and to her other people are nothing but resources to play with.

5) She gets it from her dear old Poppa - who is a pure dire follower, but not the guy you want in charge of any damned thing.

6) Amata doesn't give a rats sphincter WTF happens, so long as she maintains the amount of Crispy Iguana intake to which she is accustomed

7) I have suspected from the beginning that Butch was compensating for something. He claims to be a barber because he is QUEER

7a) Either that or he knows what will happen to a testosterone negative guy who clues you in that he has been screwing Amata

8) The cops in the vault are anol compulsive yo-yo's, I never paid them much attention

9) Officer Gomez is unsuited to his job, but it's a damned convenient thing that he was there

and finally, number ten:

AMATA CAN GO svck A GAY POPSICKLE ALL SHE WANTS TO, there are a hella lot nicer Chica's out there in the wasteland.....

(which is what I thought long before I even bought the game)
