What to do with the elder scrolls : V

what do I do with these Elder scrolls, they weigh so much. But i can't drop them

Actually they're quest items so they don't weigh anything. You can sell one to the orc at the college, and the other im not sure.

If you're playing the DG side, sell two to the moth priest for 6000 septims.
The Dragon scroll can be left in your inventory (weighs nothing) for the MQ or, as mentioned, sold at the college. Which means joining the college.

So, those of us who went Volkihar are stuck with a pair of scrolls?

Some people don't like having cluttered inventories.
Two of the scrolls can be sold to the Moth Priest, the other one can be sold to Urag at the College.

If your finished with the main quest you can sell all three of them to the moth priest for 9000 gold. 2000 gold each

Mine must be glitched. I have finished the main DG quest as well as the MQ for Skyrim but no one is willing to buy the scrolls.

I am on the vamp side. So they expect us to just carry them around? That seems odd. Se should at least be able to store them.

Yeah, I think it was just an oversight. Hopefully it will be corrected in the 1.7 patch

As the Archmage, I feel obligated to sell the Dragon scroll to Urag. I then choose to freely give the other 2 scrolls to Dexion.

Actually when the option came up to give them to Dexion I saw all those other strange things my character could reply she was going to do with the scrolls and it would have been fun to try a few. I took one look and decided they were pulling our leg, just gave them to Dexion for free. I was glad to be rid of them.

While I, as Archmage would have preferred to have kept all three for my beloved college.

DLCs can not interact with another. (Fallout NV is a good example: Weapons from the Guns Runners DLC can not use perks of other DLCs)

Imagen that some people will buy hearthfire but do not own dawnguard.
Heathfire try to load content from the dawnguard DLC -> loading error -> crash or broken quest.

Edit:
The dragon scroll is stuck in my inventory and can not be sold to the college. (I finished MQ and sold it once bevor i started Dawnguard.)
