I won't miss essential NPC's if we get rid of them.

Thats still in--

And what, you want the main plotline characters to be able to die?? The "essential" status is not only a game balancer, but it was very useful for companions if you didn't want them to drop dead. :P

Otherwise..

I will not miss the static world of Morrowind, where NPC's just stood around outside

I will not miss the less static, but still somewhat static world of Oblivion either. Also, I won't miss just about every dungeon looking like a duplicate of the last 5 dungeons I had already been in.

whiny blue potato-faced dunmer

nord and orc women voiced solely by wonder woman

redguards constantly sixually harassing me (i have a feeling you and i are about to get VERY close...)

"by azura by azura BY ARUZA! itz teh grand champyon! standin HERE in front ov ME!!!!"

falling through the floor into the negative zone

level scaling and all the horribleness it brings with it

(hopefully) psychic guards

argonians that look like cheap star trek alien masks

martin septim stealing all my glory

the gamebyro engine

for all the issues i have with skyrim, its comforting to know that so many from previous games are eliminated in the process...

Yes, that's the way they have secured quest lines, but I hope them to solve it in different way, like with new NPC's which will take the place in quest if the original one is dead. Essentials will also ruin the meaning of quests where you are needed to protect or escort them safely.

Morrowind's horrid graphics and combat

Oblivions leveling system

The lifelessness of NPCs

Way too many repeated voices (hopefully)

Not having dragons

With oblivion only having like 8 voices, and Skyrim having 70 Voice ACTORS there is bound to be at least double the amount of Voice actors as they can change there voice. So we will have lots of voices per race and per gender.

Thats not to mention, Dragons are voiced over too... And so is dragon born.

I won't miss Morrowind's combat system and Oblivion's boring province of Cyrodil.

I won't miss repairing weapons and armor. It was such a chore.

Oh they got rid of that did they? Guess you can add that to my list too.

Lack of Lycanthropes

So Lycanthropes have been confirmed have they? Or are you saying that you wont miss it because they still wont be in Skyrim?

I will not miss anything from the previous games...the stuff I liked seems to still be there and the stuff I didn't care for is gone. Therefore I will not miss anything :)

Psychic guards. Lack of voice actors. Repetitive dungeons. Level scaling. Morrowinds [censored] combat system.

I'm literally going to try and forget that Oblivion exists. Skyrim is TES IV as far as Im concerned.

Leveled loot and enemy equipment from Oblivion, along with the lack of unleveled unique items. Bothered me much more than leveled enemies.

- Move a spoon on a table and... "STOP! You violated the law!"
- Stupid and lifeless dialogs
- Breton male voice acting
- Scaling enemies (So you can run to anywhere without fear of powerful enemies)
- Boring and generic feeling of Cyrodiil, everybody living in utopic harmony.

From Morrowind:
Dice-roll mechanics, a.k.a. swinging your sword at ethereal opponents
No manual blocking - just run up and spam attacks
No regenerating magicka (did anyone even play a mage in that game?)

From Oblivion:
Insanely ridiculous level-scaling
Not having any reason at all to not use a shield
Damage sponges (goblin warlords, ogres and gloom wraiths)
Berserker companions
The randomly generated landscape and repetetive dungeons (Oblivion Gates included)

From both:
Levelling OCD, i.e. abusing your minor skills to get that coveted 5 5 5 at each level-up

If those were actually randomly generated, they would not be repetitive now would they? :P
