What I would like to see changed in C3

Crysis 1 vet here. Played competitively for some of the top NA teams for C1 before Wars came out. Quit once Wars came out to play another game. Came back for C3. Not even going to go into all the things that went wrong from C1 to C3. Can't keep living in the past so I'll focus on the present/future of C3.

1. Auto Armor - for the love of Nomad PLEASE put a level cap on this. I understand its purpose is to help beginners transition into the use of the Nanosuit, and it works great for this. However, in reality this quickly becomes abused by level 50's. I just cannot for the life of me why Crytek would choose to NOT have a level cap on something that is designed specifically for beginners. It completely takes away any and all need for Nanosuit energy management. Which leads me to point #2..

2. Nanosuit Energy - Why did you guys change the way the Nanosuit functions? It was perfect in C1! Armor/Normal mode = energy for protection, normal movespeed, etc. Speed = energy to move faster, die quicker. Strength = energy to jump higher, hit harder, shoot better. Cloak = energy for stealth. This required the person to actually learn and manage the nanosuit. Because of this there was a much higher skill curve. Once you learned to strafe and circle jump / trick jump and manager your suit properly you were a tier above beginner status. I understand that things will never go back to the old Nanosuit, so please just fix Auto Armor so we can actually have some form of energy management.

3. Hunter Bow - While I love the concept, it is poorly done in practice. Besides the issues of "tree trunk arrows", the auto aim function of this weapon is COMPLETELY BROKEN. I love seeing on kill cams someone aiming 5-10 feet to the left or right of me and seeing their arrow fly straight into my chest/head and killing me. I love watching arrows follow me as a I jump around in mid air or jump down a flight of stairs only to be struck down by a heatseaking arrow. I think this weapon is something that is better suited for Singleplayer. Without the autoaim function it would be a much more difficult weapon to use.. but it should be just that. It is incredibly powerful for a bow (1 shot kill or 2 shots in armor mode I believe) and should have a very steep learning curver to use it. But this autoaim feature is so incredibly broken it has caused me more frustration than anything else in the game.

4. Servers should have the option to not allow certain perks/weapons/modules. Nothing ruins a game faster than a level 50 scar/laser/AA/RF user blowing through freshly rebooted users. Kamikaze jaw users are also annoying, but funny.

5. Various weapon functions - anything from hit markers, tree trunk sized arrows, arrows passing through solid objects and killing opponents, recoil on certain weapons, headshots not registering.. all kinds of little bugs are present. It feels like the game needs to be "tightened up". Not sure how to explain it, things feel loose and wild and not as controlled as they should be.

6. DSG - I'm sure many would disagree about this, but I feel like this gun is underpowered. It used to be a 2 shot kill weapon in Armor mode in C1 IF you were fast enough to get the second shot in before armor begins to restore. And is a 1-shot-kill in the head no matter what. In C3 it still has the one shot kill in the head (sometimes). But if its not a kill shot I have to shoot them 4 times to kill them? Is that right or am I just misreading hitchecks? This could just be one of the things that fits into point #5 category of poor hitmarkers.

With all that being said I still find the game enjoyable.. it def needs some work and I think if Crytek made the right moves they could improve the player base, but it is up to them to make those moves.

Quoted for truth (sadly).

Let's see how this game continues, so how far it will go.
