If the combat system is not more robust than TES IV. Oblivion had the bare minimum for combat and do not give me the excuse of it being an RPG, because its been done by other developers.
I think it's funny how PC gamers won't support the game if there is no construction set. Don't get me wrong, I see it's a very fun tool, but you guys would cry a river without it.

That's because Oblivion was pretty much an empty shell without the construction set.

If the release date is set only to compet against Uncharted 3 (they both will be release on the same date...). If it lacks in content. If it gets a bad score on M.net. If it costs 60$ (59.99$ is 60$...). 55$ would be a great price.
This is a depressing thread. I don't want to think about not buying a game that I have been wondering about since I finished the Shivering Isles, and thought, "what innovation is next?" for TES.
I can't really think anything other than unnecessarily obtrusive DRM(Ubisoft!) or the lack of mod support. Steam would rather be an annoyance than a dealbreaker.
I really do hope that it is not a Steam exclusive. For those of us who want the retail disk version, just have a disc check and maybe keycode as DRM. Steam, online activation, limited activations, etc. are all deal breakers for me, especially for a single-player game.
Overly anol DRM. Like the kind that requires you to have an online connection to play and monitors the number of installs. Not something Bethesda is known for but stranger things have happened.
As far as actual game features... well there's a lot of things that would make me upset but nothing that would prevent me from buying the game. I guess if they somehow managed to put the whole game on a rail but then it wouldn't be TES anymore.

But the point of the thread is to prevent that from happening
If it was an MMO I would not get it, if there was no mods maybe. Otherwise I can't think of what they could do(reasonably) that wold make me not want the game.
Making Steam mandatory and not having Skull Crusher in the game. The last reason isn't actually true. But I refuse to use Steam, it killed to many games for me. I was addicted to The Totalwar games, than they moved to Steam and now I won't even touch 'em.
let me get this straight. i'd still play skyrim even if it includes most hated features. it would lead me illegal ways though...
but it's not likely happen since i've always bought elder scrolls games and i've always liked them. and i'm almost 100% sure that bethesda will do amazing job with skyrim.
