What would be the Best Practices method here? Relating to En

I'm considering using the Real High Heels Gladiator Shoes mod to make Real High Heels Arena Raiments.

Now, the Real High Heels system generally works by applying a script to the shoes/outfit in question, but also provides an enchantment to use in case you want to use it on something already scripted.

Now, of course, Arena Raiments are both Scripted and Enchanted, but it seems it would be fairly simple to add the Real High Heels enchantment to the existing enchantments.

Looking into how this works, I see two options. First is to add the RHH enchantment to the Vanilla Raiment Enchantments, the second would be to create an entirely new Enchantment, which has the effects already applied to the Raiment, plus the RHH effect. I'm thinking from a compatibility standpoint, the latter method would be preferred.

Thoughts?

I would suggest the latter too. Personally I prefer new things over changes to existing things. It's less of a compatibility nightmare.
