I'm just glad we can have beards. Hopefully we're not limited to a bit of stubble though. I want to do my Gandalf RP properly. :P

What I'd like:
-Alter height (I always felt so short in Oblivion, even as a Nord very often)
-Alter body type (every NPC and character I made always had the same atheletic look)
-More hairstyles (would be nice to have some that are only available for some races)
-Add beard (probably don't have to explain myself)
-Physical traits (scars and such)

What I wouldn't like:
-Sliders that affect each other (that was annoying)
-If some or none of the ones I did like, weren't in (that would be a dissapointment)

I think it'd be nice to have different postures to choose from (e.g., straight posture, slouched, leaning forward, etc.). It'd also be nice to have different options for how we walk...with a slight limp, with a lot of swagger, etc. I think it would only add to the realism of the game. It was really a minor issue, but I always found it a bit odd in OB how everyone walked exactly the same way, regardless of age, race, gender, etc.

I just noticed that the Oblivion CS offers an option when building NPC faces, that you don't get in character creation, and that's a choice of asymmetry - i.e. the left half of the face isn't a mirror image of the right. That would be a nice option for those who want to recreate a real face.

Uhm, why? It's a single player game. I'm not talking about giving Argonian horns to a orc but why can't my dunmer character use the sam hairstyle of an imperial if he/she likes it?

-Add beard (probably don't have to explain myself)

Already confirmed.

-Physical traits (scars and such)

If you mean the ability to choose them on character creation then sure; if you mean getting them like in Fable, then no.

Definitely would like to see tattoos, piercings, scars from fights and burns, etc.

Eye patches and glass eyes would be cool too.

Just height, I'm short and I want to play as a short person.

The skin tone needs to change, I always looked sickly in oblivion.

Hair, I know it's hard to do curly but I want it if they could do it.

The ability to change your teeth from straight to crooked, to yellow to rotten to white, to missing teeth to a full set of teeth. If a player wanted to play an old pirate, it'd be cool to have him/her with some missing teeth or very rotten teeth. I'm sure Tamrielians have methods of cleaning their teeth, and I'm sure they had some form of dentistry, kinda like how the barber used to also be the dentist and would just yank your teeth out with pliers, etc....

And the feature to add some form of color of eye shadow or mascara or lipstick to those players who like to make eye candy females.
Ability to add sunspots or freckles or warts.
Overweight, fat, slim, curvy, athletic, scrawny, bodybuilder, should be body types that we could be able to implement onto our characters, not those names specifically but you get the idea.

I like to see more customization options open up as well. reaching certain levels in different aspects of the game like magic then you'll open up customization parts for your character like magical eyes or magical tattoos or whatever. Other styles when leveled up would unlock customization parts fitting that ability
I also like to see a choice in selecting your character's personality, maybe insane or flirty or nice

All of this I would love to see! The sliders that affected eachother was irritating beyond beleif. I would like more options too, character traits like tatoos, scars it would be great to change body shape size and so on, the hair idea I just want more of it it does not have to be confined to one race I also wish you could change the length of your hair and beards for our male characters. It would be nice to choose different eyes as well as a nose mouth, skin texture: we need alot more options to open up our characters uniquneness.

Im not too bothered about visuals, but for role playing reasons I would like the option to have a class or profession name as well as a character name.

Classes may not exist anymore as such, but the game will still have enchanters and merchants and guards etc.
I want to be Merari, the Altmer spellsword :)

For the Bretons I'd like something like a "Man/Mer" slider, which would allow you to adjust how much they should look like a human or an elf. Or at least have the tools to custom-make it.

Basically just loads of different options.

I see no special interest in purely cosmetic options during creation. Whart matter for me is to have effective options that will alter my role playing, by changing my character abilties or affecting NPC reactions toward him. Why crafting a ugly face if noone ever tell you that you are loathsome? Why building a pretty girl character if no NPC try to flirt with her?

More options yes, but only if it means something in term of gameplay.

Things I'd like to see:

1) The new customizable bodies
2) Since children are apparently included in the game, I want to be able to play one. So yeah, I'd love slim/fat sliders, scrawny/muscular... but also an age slider.
Beyond Divinity had this and I absolutely loved the option. Second play-through was as an 8 year old kid soulbound to a demon. I'd like to be an 8 year old Dragonborn this time. Nothing beats killing the villain before puberty. :pirate:
3) More detailed face textures
4) Special marks: age lines, freckles, scars, tattoos, etc
5) A bit of jewelery like in Morrowind (attached to the hair models: tiaras, earrings, hair ribbons, etc)

If the PC has a voice, I want it done properly, unlike Dragon Age Origins.

Things i would like 2 see in the character creation
1. Slider bars not effecting each other when creating a character
2. A voice option for your character
3. Dual wield, spells included
4. Large hairstyle selection
5. Proper lightening for character creation
6. Shops to change your character's looks at anytime

I like Oblivion's Character Creation plus I like some of the these options as well.

"Can I get you a ladder so you can get off my back?!"

Actually I liked DAO's system. As long as I don't get Fully voiced playable characters I'll be happy.

A slider for body hair and a check list for missing body parts (missing finger, glass eye, severed ear, etc) as well as scars

I feel at the very least we should be able to change hairstyles, and beards whenever we want for a bit of gold. Not exactly morph our face though.

I also feel the slider bars shouldn't effect each other, and I'd prefer to have actual eyebrows as opposed to airbrushed one via a face generator.

Agree with everything, especially going to a "barber shop"...after all FO3 had it so I'm hoping it will be Skyrim as well.

Other than that I wanted the morphable body which was already confirmed, as well as better faces.

Also want tatoos, face paint and piercings but I think these should all be avaible through shops and facepaint should be a wearable item...

Aww, so you don't want your character to say "You want a ladder, so you can get off my back?" all~~l the time? Wonder why? :hehe:

Hmm, seriously, I didn't mind most of the voices in DA:O, but I disliked the fact that you couldn't tell how the character was going to talk just by the samples they showed in the character creation screen. The 'violent' tone was the most misleading (see above quote :hehe:)

Edit: damn! beat to the punchline! :(

Also better colouring of the face and neck.

Oh yes. Always ended up with grey or red patches somehow.

Otherwise, tons and tons of customization options - hairstyle, tattoos/body paint, whatever.

The lack of voiced dialog for the protagonist in a TES game never really bothered me TBH. As lady of the Sky said: the taunts and all that, sure! Voice-overs for the player during dialog, not really.
