What would you do to be apart of Skyrim testing?

Me?

I'd run around my workplace naked.

I would sacrifice my first-born (only kidding)
It'd be nice to be able to give direct feedback to bethesda's dev's.

sleep with the development team!

hehe

nah I don't want to be a tester, it would spoil the game :P, I like that "I got a new game feeling" so no testing for me even if it is possible.

Nothing! I wouldn't like to be involved in the making of a game that I love. It takes away my pleasure to do bug hunting instead of enjoying the story and the atmosphere of a finished product.

That would spoil the game for me! So, I'd do nothing - just wait patiently.

HELL NO! Play testing is very tedious and after you beat the game the 10th time you won't want to even play the finished product in launch let alone hear the name "Skyrim" uttered. I wouldn't be surprised if game testers have the highest suicide rate of any other type of career in the video game industry. Just think about it, sitting in for many hours a day playing over the same content to find out bugs and what not that your not even playing a game anymore your in a hyper vegatative state. Here comes the kicker they don't even get paid that well...

The better question would be what would you do to avoid playtesting ruining any enjoyment you will have of it when it is an actual finished product?

Although i'd love to test a game, i think it would spoil the experience for Skyrim once you buy the full game.

I'm surprised that I wasn't the only one thinking about not testing the game :D

This just shows how much we actually care about the game.

The only games worth "testing" are MMO betas.

Testing single player games is just ruining the fun for yourself.

Nothing at all. From what I've heard game testing is a very tedious affair so it would probably ruin the game for me.

I don't want to be a beta-tester. I actually was one already, with STALKER Clear Sky (as everybody else who bought that game at first days did, hehe), and breaking through the bugs is not what I expect from a TES hame. Can you imagine having to replay some place again and again trying to find what's not OK, then giving it back to scripters and programmers to fix it, then testing it again and again more, and so on. You would hate the game at the end.

Well, I'd ask.

Or that, depending on type of test.

As long as my job was to see how the game PLAYS and no real testing involved and they paid me a nice salary I would be there in a heartbeat! :D

I would rather not test the game. I don't want to be spoiled, plus from what I've seen testers have to do a lot of boring things.

I would do the same thing every other tester does. I would apply as a tester. I have no problem bug testing a game as nothing can ruin a story for me. I can watch the same film, read the same book, and play the same game repeatedly without the novelty leaving.

I wouldn't do anything. Why would I spoil and ruin the game for myself before getting to actually play it and why would I want to do something so tedious as game testing for free?
