Get rid of the faction armour thing. I hate it how some of the best armour in the game, is banned if you are going to certain places. Brotherhood armour will get you shot by NCR and legion and everyone. Enclave armour, you need to have arcade and he wont join you if you help legion. NCR and Legion armour will both get you shot by the opposing faction regardless of youre rep. The faction armour thing is a cool addition, but it gets tiresome, having all this awesome armour and not being able to wear it

More Legion quests. Everyone, but NCR got the shaft.

Wear standard T-51b or T-45d Power Armor. problem solved. Choices and consequences. If you expect go walking into an NCR base wearing 'HI I AM WITH THE BROTHERHOOD' equipment when they are at war with them, you should really expect to be shot at.

Strangely all it would have taken is a small extension to the script and pop up like cannibal or mister sandman.

But... You're still wearing a faction armor.. Even if you're not disguised as an NCR Trooper if you wear one's gear you still have it's insignia on it and it's default clothing for a Trooper.
So if you want to wear a faction armor then you have to deal with it's consequence.

On the other hand, let... The companions.. Carry.. The... Damn... Faction armors!!!

True but if you just want to make a pc look cool it helps, I'm not talking about uber gear here just outfits.
Any way DT is over rated even at 30+ most automatics and semis will do plenty to kill you.
That and most creatures still do tremendous amounts through it, untill 50+ DT.
So if some power gamer thinks it's an exploit and fun so be it, he'll learn or quit NV in a week anyway.
That said, companion carries is good too, well thought of Gabriel.

What I missed in NV

1) Available space and party barter for now is very annoying - I prefer system where main hero free space is sum of all free spaces in party. (Or when crafting all party inventory available)
2) No exclusive loot from mini bosses like Queen Ant - may be DLC (or patch) with hunters guild and bonuses for killing bosses.
3) PC interface is too big sized - PLEASE make (optionally) smaller size of fonts and more lines viewable in dialog screen . (I didn't want to install interface user mods)

They were unpredictable and not exactly easy to contain.
They had better success with deathclaw mind control device so I just don't see why Enclave of all people would do the same mistake again. :shrug:

I think maybe there could be a quest after clearing out Black Mountain. Upon returning, there will be a man in the storage room. If you ask what he's doing, he'll say he found some old records in good condition and he's cleaning them off. You could say you'd help him find more records, if he wants. There will be 5 records across the Mojave, one in the Radio room on Black Mountain, one in Helios One, another in Hidden Valley Bunker, and the last one in the El Rey Motel. Once you return, he gives 500 caps (100 for each record, double with Barter/Speech check) and asks you to get some radio equipment from different places. 2 Ham Radio, 2 Scrap Electronics, a Fission Battery, one radio, and a record player from Field's Shack. When you return to him with everything, you get another 500, and the quest completes. After 12 hours, a new radio signal will be found. This plays the songs listed above and some other ones.

I'd stop Fallout as a series at that point.

I was a bit sad that they put music from the 60's up in New Vegas, but as long as it does'nt jump to rock music, I'm happy.

also I would add in an Easter Egg... a real easter egg, as a throwback to FO2.

Even after i had made a alliance with the NCR? For gods sake i found a guy in hoover dam wearing power armour and he was fine, and i cant even have my companion carry it, so my only choice is to stick it in my safehouse for later use when deathclaw or cazador hunting
