What would you like to see added to Casinos?

More quests and more people. Altough the engine and my computer could only handle a little population growth.

If you were to kill House And place Yes Man in Charge

Then you get a percentage of Cap's Every Week?
For The Lucky 38 To become an open casino where there is no limit to how much you win
An extra floor or Two in each casino

another casino would be nice two

But i feel lack of quest's In within the Strip

that would be nice. It was pretty epic to see New vegas from a distance though but was kinda dissapointed it wasnt bigger.

I'd honestly love to play russian roulette although there's no house edge or "losers edge"for that matter.

I agree with re-opening the Lucky 38 casino. It'd be awesome either way, if you kill House or work for him. The story and game died at the end of the big story where as my character didn't die, so why not reap the spoils of the war I just won. I could see quests incorporated into the restoration of the Casino like finding dancers/hokers, entertainers, food and a chef. Oh, and let our companions accompany us in the Penthouse and lounge areas. Or, perhaps we'll have funny Securitrons as casino employees.
On games I'd like to see in the casinos: Poker, because it's easily the most popular multi-player card game, and maybe solo Solitaire.

I want the NPCs playing with me or against me. Playing by myself killed the gambling for me.

Hmmm what would I like to see added into casinos?

Well I admit I'd like to see more of less of them. I'm not a fan of the casinos. The only use they have is the quests they have to do with. They get very boring after the first 12 minutes because every single casino is the same (slot machines, tables, betting, losing money) besides for Gammorah which has the girls. Now if they had more of an umm-live and vivid view about them. More people or more random events like fights or robberies or more casino action or even more music in each one. Then they would be worth staying in for longer than 15 minutes to just grab and do a quest.

Overall, just wish the strip was bigger. Was unimpressed that it was just 4 small subzones and... that was it.

"Untouched by the bombs" my ass.

Untouched by bombs. -> True.
Untouched by 200+ years of decay -> Not true.

Your talking about where you get a Revolver and you try your luck at life right. So i would love to have that, it would be really sweet.

I was very disappointed not to see poker in the casinos. Started playing the game and was so excited when I finally made it to the strip only to find the casinos were without it. As goes for the Lucky 38, I agree that you should be able to open it up and have it be a source of income; And whatever the casino rakes in you should be able to collect a percentage of the profits.

Apparently poker makes Gamebyro cry.
The devs looked into it but there are too many subtleties to make it work.
Who knows? They've had time to mess around -- maybe it will appear in a DLC.

Personally, all those unused chessboards bug me. I'd love to sit down to a match with House, Caesar or maybe the King.

Another possibility for no poker is no house edge like with caravan. You would buy admission into the game and that would be the only money the house makes aside from maybe a very small percentage of the pot. Even that could turn players off. Why pay the casino to play when we can play elsewhere for free? I know poker is big now, but it wasn't always so. The casinos would make more from the other games, and not have to give up floor space for poker. Poker is also a very slow game; takes longer for the casino to get its money.

Poker (I'm indifferent to Gamebryo's feelings. :P). And other gamblers playing alongside with you, cursing and cheering their luck. And now I think about it, a UI that doesn't obscure the hand you have with overlaid text about how much your bet is (really, really not impressive, not impressive at all.)

Red Dead Redemption did the whole 'gambling' thing about seventy thousand times better than NV, it must be said.

Personally? I'd like to see a windowed Lounge akin to the Revolving Coctail Lounge in the Lucky 38, but overlooking The Strip, one for Gommorah, one for The Ultra-Luxe, and one for The Tops. Each with their casinos reflected touches. The Tops having that Rat Pack themed 'mans man' lounge. The Ultra Luxe lounge woul'd likely be an open aired lounge with balcony. Gommorahs likely being sleasy with a guy and girl stripper on different poles.

People.

They need customers, all the casinos have more guards than gamblers or drinkers, it's just not a good economic model.

I was very disappointed when I went through New Vegas. I went through the Strip and I was wondering where the rest was. I wouldn't mind see the Chairman leave my High Roller Suite at the Tops.

Craps and Keno would be easy to put in the game.

I would like to be able to rent a room in a casino.

I would like a few more NPCs

Heck, I would like a few more casino's too.

As for quests, there could be many more quests on the strip. The ones they had were good, it would be nice if there were more of them.
