What would you like to see in expansions

Just queries on what people would like to see in the expansions for fallout 4

I would like to see the settlement enhanced something that would add to the gameplay like like training a group of 4-5 survivors and sending them on missions or looting and maybe add stuff like scientist to research stuff for you and the settlement over time.

I would also like to see better ai so they fight in a group and if you shoot that stay alert behind cover ready to go as soon as you get is sight.

And maybe allow the player and ai to lay down and crawl and a head pivot so i can look around as i'm moving like in arma.

And plz co op so i can play with my wife or friends not mmo just 1 person joining with their character.

What would you like to see in the game story or gameplay???

Choices, actual meaningful choices with consequences. And better use of skills/perks, let me use my super smart 10 intelligence and science perks in dialogue.

Companion tracking in the data tab. Third person cover system. Ammo crafting. More vertibird missions. Ways to actually lead your group of choice guide their agenda in light of the events in the main quest. An all out faction battle like Hoover dam in NV. Participation in the combat zone arena. A beam laser perhaps fed by fusion cores. Rouge synth faction that can bolster the minute men or be wiped out. Mutiny in diamond city. A way to restore TV. A paranoid vault occupied by vault tec descendants that expended their resources, perhaps with the president of vault tec in cryogenic stasis. European boat docked with people living a prewar lifestyle that want to help, but are condescending prudes. A drug running group. Scientific reverse engineering group. The founding of a new nation more defended and less expanding than the NCR. An explination to all the alien references, as mothership zeta added more questions than it answered. An enclave rebirth group. Better farming, that includes livestock. Guns that look like m16s or ak47s. A human shield system. A robot factory that can make mechanical companions that die like normal. A way to make settlements in cleared areas. More melee weapons, like crowbars, ballpeen hammers, hatchets, 5foot pipe wrenches, gauze (sp?) hand wraps with mods like 'glue and glass'. A fear system like that of skyrim, where some enemies get terrified of you if you do certain things like fire mini nukes, dismember corpses or slowly walk at them while they unload on you. A mininuke land mine. A drug with visual effects, like motion blur color value increase, fisheye, and or other filters. A radiation dampening device questline to make the glowing sea inhabitable. More base clothing with mods. Mutated fish in the water. Raiders uniting. 3 groups, one of elitist civil mutants, one humanitarian ghouls, and the other ignorant innocent people from which the sole survived can choose 2 groups to support. Glitchy robots made to look and act like some of the founding Fathers. Cybernetic enhancement. A machine that restores power to fusion cores at the cost of mf cells, plasma cartridges, cryocells, and gamma rounds. A robco facility. A non vault fallout shelter with supporting doomsday cult NPCs. A seed bank. FEV animals. An abandoned underwater city with a bunker that has a draining airlock, behind which flourish a group of people who's biggest concern are mirelurks. A generic chimera lab gone wild after being stabilized by radiation. Settler reproduction, as well as the ability for the player to make a baby or adopt. Snakes. Where'd the giant ants go? Bird of prey attacks. An answer to the question "what about Soviet Russia?". A secret meeting at the same location on say the third day of every month, and a small questline related to said group. prosttutes, both expensive and cheap. Bring back hydra ane maybe something like drs bags. Diseases. Homemade jet that speeds you up, but doesn't slow time. Mod to engulf power armor in flames. Thrown weapons. A bow or crossbow with craftable arrows/bolts. An online vs arena where your pip boy (and there for weapons menu, vats, and healing items) is taken before the fight and returned after, perhaps this is done from a tranquility lounger. A horse, bicycle, ATV, or otherwise quickly moving small mount. A US naval cruiser. A group of pacifists to protect during a migration. Anyone with the last name Tenpenny. A holotape that mentions James from fallout 3. A Delta blues style radio station.

In no particular order:

-new weapons & clothing

-new enemies

-a new PA model or two

-new PA paint jobs, and the ability to apply ANY paint to ANY type of PA

-new questlines

-more stuff to build at settlements

More story. More creative mutated animals. Less ghouls. No extraterrestrial aliens. And keep focusing on single player experience.

You know, the usual...more weapons, more armors, more weapon customizations, more things to slap onto a settlement...Neon Signs are particularly high on my list...

Wouldn't say no to more unique Power Armor sets...

Help create a New fallout faction, help the settlers build the New Commonwealth. Fallout 5 see a big Blue the builder Statue some where in the New commonwealth.

Newer buildings , remove all the junk from settlements , settler patrols l clear an area and its stays clear and the patrols remove junk in there area so l get better frame rates so l can build massive settlements.. Random settler names.Settlers crafting ammo armor weapons.

I'd like to see something happen with all of the bridges that are in game.
I really like the verticality they've added, but it seems wasted potential to have all of these bridges, which are easy to defend, largely un-utilized by anyone.

  1. New power armor sets.

  2. Motorcycle "mount." Fusion core fuel source.

  3. New/better settlement functionality and objects. I want my settlers renamed to "farmer" when I put them to work tilling fields, rather than consoling in my farmer's uniform of choice, the flannel shirt and jeans.

  4. New weapons. Particularly, a 10mm semi/auto rifle and a .308 baseline semi/auto rifle (Chinese AR?) LMG for .50 cal. Just multiple variant uses of all the ammunition types really.

  5. Obviously, new territories to explore.

  6. Individual glove components, or the removal of the pip-boy for the left arm. Getting tired of nearly every outfit with full armoring capability having no gloves. Vault-suit could have stuck with the brown band extending into finger cut offs or full gloves like shown in concept art. Hardly feels like a pseudo hazard suit with the hands exposed as they are.

  7. For other stats to play a role in dialogue choices, like strength = Intimidation and perception = dialogue oriented towards obtaining truth (like the SS pointing out the director's story doesn't add up and maybe with enough intelligence if not strength, coaxing the truth out of him.) And of course, NPC can be resistant towards certain stats than others, like the Director might not be so intimidated by a strength based dialogue option demanding the truth, but would be more open to someone with an intellectual inquiry.

  8. Finally, for a campaign DLC to involve picking sides and battle lines actually moving. Like, Enclave vs NCR vs Brotherhood/Institute and/or Minutemen with raiders/super mutants/feral ghouls filling in all the unowned space. The SS could very well fight hard to clear out all organized parties, leaving the region to the standard issue rabble (raiders and co.) This mode would be radiant quests galore and settlements would function literally more like base building, because they'll be razed not by just raider gangs, but also opposing forces.

Of course, except for maybe new land, territory control and motorcycles, the above can probably be done with mods... when they work. Can't seem to get the current glove mod to work.

Ability to really fix up settlements that come with a good amount of (mostly) intact buildings. Really frustrating for the settlement-builder part of me to try and cover glaring holes in walls/floors, and can only ad-hoc coverings, making it look really ugly and sometimes still leaving enough of a gap that myself/npc's might fall thru the floor if we are not careful). So if you have the raw materials to spend, pre-war buildings can be fixed up to be practically new.. no more nasty holes in the walls, floors, ect.

More powerful weapon/armor mods. (we end up being the biggest mofo in the commonwealth..we should severely out-gun pretty much anything out there right now, with master-level perks and high enough character level)

More stuff to build in settlements (furniture, decorations, functionality pieces, ect)

Being able to see what your settlers are assigned too, so you dont accidentally take somebody off of food production when you assign them as a shopkeeper or supply-line worker

Companions go with you into the institute, and dialogue (maybe a quest or 2) that results from it. Can you imagine the fit piper would throw if she made it in? :D

A meaningful under-water area. Maybe a secret research installation, military base, under-water vault, or even an alien base.

Kitties in settlements :D

Radio tracks in the loot tables, that you can bring to the diamond city Dj as quest turn-ins, as well as for your own radio's in settlements

Stop letting preston / the MM treat us like their own personal lackey after we make general. We have grunts to take care of the day-to-day settlement concerns (no more endless radiant quests, plox)

Plug those breeches in the castle walls after we take over.

A more varied enemy list

A couple -really- big settlement sites. I mean BIG. Would be nice to really tinker around with stuff, maybe make a large town (as opposed to the very small sites we get now)

Give us build-able robots as part of the defense force. Tired of the gunners always getting the assault-trons :(

A co-op would be great. My wife and I both play and tend to battle over who's turn it is. You could keep it from messing up the story line by making it something you have to unlock by getting to the end of the current story. Or by giving control of the companion to your co-op. (Though I doubt that option would be favorable after someone puts 5 days of play time into their own character.)

Another approach, which would require planning a co-op from the start, could be having a second servivor of vault 111.

Also maybe a brahmin you can buy as a pack mule to carry extra gear/supplies. To keep it from being over kill you could make it so that you can't fast travel or go into buildings without leaving it somewhere. ( leaving it in the middle of the city could lead to it, and all your stuff, getting stolen. There is a potential for side quests with that as far as tracking the theif down and getting back what's left of your stuff).

Being able to make your own armor, or atleast adding additional bonuses to it would be nice too. Example being leaded and deep pockets. ( could easily be added to the armorer skill as an additional point)

Going mmo could get interesting as well. Giving way to alliances and possible territory wars. It would probably have to be small groups and seperate servers to keep from having over crowding.

No mmo, please. I'd much rather see resources spent on building up content for the single player game. Co-op, maybe. But mmo's always end up being a huge cluster-fk.

if Bioshock was part of the same universe and Rapture wasnt built until the 2000s than ide like to see that. It would probably bloom up until 2077.

Otherwise some under sea voyages would be fun; fighting all varieties of mirelerks, camouflaged mutated man eating slugs, ghoul sharks, jellyfish, sink holes and other environmental hazards.

Explorable sunken ships, oil rigs, sea observitories/ science research facilities, underwater naval outposts.

The world of fallout under the sea, that would be something.

Bioshock in an alternate universe; i suppose its canon, but not for Fallout.

New enemy types. New synth types and animals.
Darker background quests on the institute, something like the pit.
Memory quests for the companion backstories.
Quests about Synth experimentation & Depth to the Underground railroad.
New companions that reward bad choices.
A new extension of the commonwealth that survives destruction.
No more aliens. New lore-friendly post-story antagonists.

Also adding to my DLC wishlist:

The ability to scrap stuff anywhere, not just in your settlement area's. TONS and TONS of building materials laying around the commonwealth, but you can only get the stuff that's in your settlement building radius? pffft.

This would especially come in handy if we ever get some BIG sites to build with, and you'll need allot of materials if you want to try and build up a respectable sized town, not just a dinky tiny settlement. Would also like to see an increase in settlers based not just on your charisma, but over-all character level, how safe (defense value) your settlement is, how well-known you are (by the time you get into later stages of the storyline, allot of people should have heard about you and your cause(s), ect.

More companions expansion in general: Marriage (We have everything you could use to get married, rings, wedding code, tuxedo and dress, pastor, church), personal sidequests for Strong, more Piper's interview, Nick's investigation, Danse challenging Maxson for Elder (Cut content), change Garvey's role from quest giver to a regular companion.

More enemy types, expansion on building settlement, post ending quests for each faction.

More minor factions that aren't involved in the main quest.

A settlement with a house that has a roof that isn't more than half missing, or a way to fix said roofs. Covenant doesn't count as there isn't enough space to build. And it's a small complaint but I want to be able to place turrets outside the gates at Bunker Hill, The building boundary feels constrictive there.

I mostly want addition and expansions to the settlement building.
