What would you like to see an NPC do? : V

Well, I'd really like to see some Bosmer archers take down a few trolls, I mean NPCs engaging in a fight pretty often. (Bar, woods, town etc.) What do you want to see?

I'd like to have a meaningful friendship- like with this example, I'd like to have a dinner, make a friend, then a few weeks later when I'm in the same town, I'd like to be able to go to that person and get all the tidbits I'd normally have to scrub from everyone in town. Or at the very least he could tell me to go talk to specific people for info.

It would be great to have a network of NPC's that, because of your reputation, like you and keep you updated on news and events.

I'd like to be traveling with a companion NPC, and suddenly he/she turns to me and says:

"Hang on Boss, there's something I gotta do."

Then he/she grabs an edition of Black Horse Courier, and heads behind a pine tree that lines the road. Have him/her grab some pine cones and/or leaves on the way, then hear him/her whistling and turning pages as he relieves himself/herself (with the accompanying sound of "water" hitting soil. Just once I'd like to know that there is a limit to how long NPC's can hold their waste. lol

There's immersion for ya.

Table games like cards being played in taverns. Back alley dice throwing or fist fights that disperse when guards come by.

A lot more adventurers out exploring the wilderness and dungeon diving other than myself. I would also like to talk to some of them and see if they have any crazy stories about their adventures treasure hunting, and maybe even talk about speculated locations of rare items, possibly inviting you to help track them down.

I'd like to see an NPC emerge from a tavern, after having gotten himself completely drunk. As they stagger away from the tavern, there is a little creek/river running through the town, similar to Cheydinhal, or Bravil in Oblivion. As the NPC staggers along the sidewalk beside the creek, they stumble and fall, landing face down in the water possibly drowning.

What about a little competition, you want to enter a cave and all 'o a sudden this other adventurer comes screaming that that cave is his/hers?! :touched:

Well they added people jugling and playing flutes and stuff, so they have to at least add a village idiot into the mix lol

Something similar to what a few have posted, Groups of npc to disperse or react to a guard patrol and then rejoin and comment on the authority etc.

Npc to respond to the colour or material of your armour with simple comments. Khajiit might not like a player in fur.

Competative hawking in a marketplace where they deride each others good but this could get annoying as well.
