What would you do...

What would you do? I would freak out and be pissed off at the company for the rest of my life, but still buy their games every time a new one comes out :P

I'd probably cry. I mean, why would they do that?

It's a good thing it won't happen though. :P

I would just carry on with the other Bethesda Softworks video games like the Fallout series because their other games are good too.

I'd be disappointed, but then I'd shrug and admit that the series had to end at some point.

Good thing there shall be no such announcement, though.
At his QuakeCon talk he was asked when TESV is coming out and Todd replied, "Don't look for a new Elder Scrolls game in the near future." He also went on to say how much the franchise means to us and that it definitely will continue. He just wasn't going to provide any timeframe on "when." This should not be news to anyone that has been paying attention. Both Todd and I have said repeatedly that, of course, we're going to do another Elder Scrolls game. The last one was enormously popular. So was the one before that. You get the idea. So do we.

First I would adopt a very surprised facial expresion and utter something along the lines of: "You can't be serious." Then I'd say Bethesda was crazy because TES V would have probably sold even better than Oblivion. And finally I'd shrug and get on with my life.

I would die a little bit inside. Then I would be furious for about two days or something. Then I'd "forget" about it.

Since I only really care about the Elder Scrolls series(no other video games are major games for me), I would become depressed and never obsessively play a video game again.

That would be terrible. Its my favourite games

I would boycot Bethesda... on the other hand, if The Elder Scrolls was gone, i would probably not be interested in their games anyway. Fallout 3 was borring so i would probably not buy a new Fallout game. And then whats left?

I'd literally cry in real life. Then be really pissed off for a few weeks at Bethesda, whilst continuing to play OB and MW. :batman:
Then, I'd still never really get over it deep down on the inside. But I wouldn't show it. TES needs to continue.

I would be greatly disappointed. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one of my favorite games of all time. It sold really well and received a lot of praise from the gaming industry. I don't see why they wouldn't make TES V.

I really hope they don't develop a TES MMO. I already have enough MMO's on my plate with Star Wars: The Old Republic and World of Warcraft. Mabye if they didn't exist, I would be all over a TES MMO..
