i know fallout 4 isn't out yet and i assume the please stand by message at this site will be replaced by a possible release date.

what would you do if the pc version of fallout 4 had a bug that messed up you pc to the point where you had to reinstall your os?

and how many players would go the forum to complain??

Totally worth it. An OS is temporary, fallout is an experience you carry with you to the wasteland and beyond.

That can't really happen.

Reinstall OS, install community fan bugfix patch, enjoy.

That's really impossible, if it blue screened? That's possible but destroy my computer to the point of needing a re-install of the OS? That's just downright impossible.

I'll do what I did last time; hug myself that I finally have a computer that will even run the newest FO game, and then as MiniTon said, find the community patch, install and carry on.

I hope Fallout 4 graphics will be up to date to actual technology, with wonderful textures, lighting, particle effects and, why not? Animations!

Something like that hasn't been possible since Windows when from 16-bit to 32-bit.

In this day and age, it takes a hardware failure (like a bad hard drive) or a virus to take out an operating system.
