What would you do if you went to bed one night and woke up the next day in fallout 3's megaton?
if i had the know how on disabling a nuclear bomb i would do it, so i could save megaton and have a place to stay when i'm not exploring the wasteland :fallout:.

Go to Craterside Supply to seduce Moira. Not because that upper Midwestern accent gets my motor running, but because I'd want to arm myself and I don't typically carry and abundance of bottlecaps around. Do what you have to do, I guess.

Head over to Lucy West's pad. You know... To get some advice on the wasteland.

Go and chew the fat with Lucas Simms, or Walter. Or chill with Gob.

Uhm, make sure to stay on the Enclave's good side... also avoid any dark subway tunnels. I couldn't deal with a ghoul in real life! LOL And I guess I would wish to be in the Mojave, rather than in the Capital Wasteland! lol

I'd get the fusion pulse charge, tell Burke it was in place, and meet him at Tenpenny. Then, once on the balcony, I'd use a handy hunk of lead pipe to brain Tenpenny, then Burke. I'd shove the fusion pulse charge up Burke's butt, put him next to Tenpenny, and hit the detonator. Then, I'd need a shower. Good thing Tenpenny's suite dispenses radiation-free water...

Disarm the bomb because I need a house. I would then go seduce Moira. After getting together I would get the pre-war theme and other things for my home. I would then get weaponry and some armor and clothing. Now is the tricky part. I get the Stahls to do an intervention for their junkie brother in the water place. I would then sneak in and steal as much food as I could carry. Now I would make a good living doing odd jobs and probably marry Lucy West after getting everything I need from Moira and getting Craterside Supply in the divorce.

Crap my PJs.

Then proceed to try and make a living as a trader or something. Maybe work in the clinic, since I'm a med student, and know a little stuff here or there. Ideally I'd like to live as the doctor in Rivet City or Tenpenny Tower since they're secure, and not so... dirty and destroyed like Megaton is.

Cry. And then cry some more. And eventually just accept that this is my life now and look for a job somewhere so that I'd have enough caps to keep living comfortably. Well, as comfortably as is possible in the Fallout universe!

Get very drunk at Moriarty's, stumble up to Craterside supply and try my luck with Moria, then head to Lucy West's house for the night. In the morning I would probably climb up through the secret hatch in Lucas Simms house and take pop shots at everyone with a hunting rifle........... :drag:

It's funny how some people here talk as if they're total sociopaths, but in real life probably wouldn't hurt a fly.

Probably get shot at for walking out of someone's house in impossibly clean track pants and a tank top. Or get tetanus walking around barefoot on a floor made of old rusty airplane bits.
