That's probably what I would do too. I would head over to the prospectors' den and use that as my living quarters. Then I would go out prospecting during the day and then trade with merchants or the other prospectors living in the den in order to get food, water, and other supplies. I would probably end up travelling into the NCR at some point, where I would attempt to learn some history in order to fill in the blanks about what had happened before the Great War as well as what had happened in the time frame between the different games.

I'd make a Beeline for New Vegas and request to be under the employ of Mr. House.

Well I suppose I'd go to my house and get my rilfes.
Then I'd found the NVMC and show everyone a real fighting force.

If I woke up in the Fallout Wasteland Universe, first I'd say "What the [censored]?" then after panicking, and possibly crying, I'd try to figure out what happened and make the most of the situation. I have decent skill with weapons given the fact that I hunt with rifles/shotguns and bows, i'm also pretty good at camping/survival. But I would try to avoid any conflict, hopefully I would wake up somewhere peaceful that I could fall back on a simple job like a farmer or something.

I would try to go to Vegas no matter what (my life long dream in real life I WAS ZOOOO HAPPY WHEN I HEARD NEW VEGAS WAS COMING OUT) there idk, Freeside is something i like cause its a place where people need help, but i wouldnt live there (for obvious reasons). My goal would be to make 2000 caps to get into the strip, maybe offering me as a merc over at the Garrets or the Kings, or help out the Followers although not the best medic or scientist ever.
Then i would just chill out in the strip, maybe strike a bussiness deal, try to get things organized. Ya′ll know, just try to improve Vegas. I couldnt think of a nobler goal then that beside unitying Vegas into one union (not under Houses flag).
