what would you do if you went to bed one night and woke up in the fallout wasteland and how well would you survive?? :shocking:

i would be scared but i would at least try to survive in the wasteland. :clap:

Probably scream and cry. When it became clear to me that I was going to be living here forever, I would head to Jacobstown and attempt to live a happy life as a prospector/Bighorner hunter/mantis hunter.

I'd also track down somebody who could teach me how to shoot as quick as possible.

i guess i would go to ether primm, novac or freeside since i go to any of them most often.

I just hope it woluld be in legion territory(but as a trader though(i know thats unlikely)) or in the hub(NCR territory and by 2161 the most civilized town in my opinion)

I'd sure take Sunny Smiles up on her offer to train me. Start slow, follow the route to Primm, Nipton, ( be polite and smile to the nice legion fellers there) novac and then New Vegas.

I'd take things slow, it's hard growing up in paradise, ( 21st centuary america ), and then going to the wasteland.

At some point I'd probly wonder how the hell I magically traveled there.

It's already kind of like that now, and Paradise is just 20 minutes away by car. I'd rely on my speech since that's been my greatest asset for a while and kept landing me better jobs.

Well, in real life my luck is about a 1 or 2 ha ha.. so I may be in trouble. Probably start looking for water and build a hut like a true boyscout

Look for water and civilization. If I had a choice I would go up to Jacobstown because Marcus is a cool guy and I like the supermutants. I'm not very good at anything. But if I made it to Jacobstown then that means that I have no problem traveling over long distances.

Once there...I imagine I have what counts as a reasonably high science skill. The NCR seems to have some computers around. I'd probably do okay.

I'd just get a caravan trip to California and live my life peacefully. Sign up in some scientific entity to rebuild the planet. No deathclaws, no bullets, just living my life.

I can shoot but bullets hit me just as bad as they hit anyone else, so any merc/soldier thing would not be preferred.

Hmm, Jacobstown is situated in a pretty area. I like the snow covered mountains, but it's so remote and I couldn't imagine living the whole time with Mutants.

I think I would head to the strip and see if Sarah Weintraub and Vault 21 needs a business partner. It's a beautiful and clean place. I think it's the cleanest place in the Wasteland! LOL Sarah could stay inside, since she doesn't like to go out and I could be the PR rep for the Vault, drum up business. LOL

Or, if that deal falls through, I'll join the Followers and help them to bring hope to the people in the Wasteland. Distribute food, meds etc. A noble cause indeed!

But assuming we're limited to the game map, I'd probably head to the Old Mormon Fort. It seems pretty safe there, and I think the Followers would take me in. I'd do alright with treating the sick or doing research. Plus I would get to hang out with Arcade.

Only problem I see with this is that the road from Goodsprings to the Old Mormon Fort is long and dangerous.

I'd freak out for a while trying to wrap my head around how the hell I got there. I'd head to the closest town, get a crappy job and buy myself a rifle and become a hunter/prospector.

If in New Vegas I wouldnt worry, its not that dangerous, I'd build a shack next to lake las vegas and eat wild fruit all day.

In the capital wasteland however, hope to make it to megaton and maybe get a job at moriartys.

Learn to be an accurate shot with guns/rifles, pronto. I'm not a farmer, merchant, social, or army type, so I'm not sure what I'd do...scavenge probably. Kill lots of gecko's and trade their hides for ammo and supplies. Occasional temp for hire work. Spend the rest of my meager life hunting for any cellular/DNA remains of cats so I could try to grow one in a lab for a pet.
