What would be your ideal companion?

Because I like dat asian flair. Duh.

Why not just find a white girl with long black hair and have her wear a really, really tight ponytail?

... I am confused. Because you like Asians, yet you want someone who pretty much looks caucasian... Whatever your opinion.

My preference is a woman that is mentally secure.

They make those?

I'm partial to short term relationships, so for a companion I'll take a bottle of Oban or Macallan.

Yes, but fortunately there are some very talented men who can help us overcome that state. :P

I'm taking that as a compliment, even if it wasn't meant as one. :D

That's why I said even if it wasn't meant as one. :P (I'm old and lonely, I need to feel like I'm being complimented, so just let me have this one. :P)

Well, I imagine her as more assertive than me (to the point where sometimes, not very often, she's grating on my nerves). Willing to let me be assertive sometimes, though, because it's a rare thing and it generally means I just had a good idea. Her eyes are sparks and her voice is moonlight. I don't expect that to make any sense, but it's true.

Dunno if I'll find her or if she exists. I guess it'll be all right if I don't, though.

I'm not picky in terms of race.

Traits I'd like in a potential partner:

-Likes me for me

-Fellow gamer

-Can talk about a variety of subjects

-No makeup

-Willing to date an Aspie

-Likes or can at least tolerate videogame music

You'd think all gamers would be predisposed towards electronica, I mean, who is more acclimatised to ear bleeding synthesised beeps than us? But no, its metal all the way apparently. :P

While on that topic, I couldn't physically stand to share the same space as any girl that likes the following genres: rap, hip hop, soft rock with men crying about dumb stuff, or pretentious hipster music.

In fact, it would just be better if any prospective girlfriends lacked any musical tastes.

I figured that out once I made that thread the other day.

I'm starting to believe that I'll probably be marrying in my 40s, which I hope doesn't happen.

Only rumors I've heard. Usually my search is a 404.

Wait a sec... Pandora = woman, Pandora's box = no hope escaped.

*sigh*

I think I'm one of those doors on the, Heart of Gold.

A woman, who is independent, but also realizes the worth of unity. A woman who cares about herself, but also cares about me. A woman who has her own goals in life, that challenge mine and make my life worth living. A woman who is beautiful, but doesn't know it. A woman who is kind, generous, and worth my time. A woman who realizes that it's her job to make me feel good about myself, not my job to look good for her.

It's not the only thing that matters, but it certainly helps, when you set up house together, if you realise you've completed the gaps in each other's somewhat obscure record collections.

That's great. :)
