I'm playing Daggerfall via DosBox. Today I loaded my game and I couldn't get the cursor to change to move mode. No matter what I did the cursor stayed in that mode. The enter button didn't work, I even remapped it to another key with no luck. Anyone know whats wrong?

This happens sometimes. It's a bug. Just restart the game, load your save file and set your options again.

That didn't work for me. Luckly one of my saves didn't have this problem.

How can I avoid this bug? It happened when I saved infront of an NPC.

Was he one of the NPCs that asks you a question which you have to answer by typing (eg the front-door guard in Castle Daggerfall)?

Whenever you finish talking to one of those characters the game will get stuck on cursor mode for the mouse.
