» Wed Jun 29, 2016 3:54 pm I'm having some big issues right now. I've had lagging issues, CTD issues, and missing texture issues in the past, but nothing like this. My problems are as follows:
- Weird type of lagging. By "weird", I mean it pretty much only lags when I'm moving my character or moving my mouse. If I let my character stand still without moving my mouse, the game becomes buttery smooth. 7 fps to 49. Huge boosts.
- Insane loading times just to enter an exterior worldspace. This shouldn't surprise me so much, but you'd think that with all the fixes I've integrated the load times would be heavily reduced. The last time I played this game, load times were never an issue, and I was playing a 255+ plugin game with hundreds of 2K texture mods.
- Flickering textures for certain surrounding objects as I'm walking by them (ie. flowers I'm walking by).
- Flickering far away background textures (ie. the mountains).
- Some distant terrain seem like it's ungenerated. For example, walking out of Whiterun, I expected to see fields of grass in the distance, but all I saw were brown blobs.
- I don't know if this is placebo or not, but the game just seems...uglier for some reason. Seems like it's saturated.
If any of these points are unclear, please tell me so I can elaborate. Better yet, if you're more of a visual person, I can record a video to showcase what I mean.
