What's wrong with this mod?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 3:00 pm

Hi. I recently installed Oblivion to try out the FCOM Superpack v6. FCOM Superpack runs fine by the way. I didn't start having problems until I installed Emma's Vilja companion mod. This isn't the first time I've used Vilja companion mod so, I know it's installed right. The game actually runs fine but, when I get to the Inn where Vilja is, she's invisible. I tried installing the CM partners no invisiblity esm and esp but it doesn't change anything. I'm wondering if Vilja is some how incompatible with FCOM Superpack? Does anyone know if this is the problem or if there is another issue I might be over looking. THANKS!

You might also consider that using an unauthorized compilation package isn't going to get you a lot of favorable responses. Who knows what all they've done with that that could be causing unexpected issues.

Thanks for the reply Arthmoor. I was a bit taken back by your comment because, I had no idea what a controversy there was over this compilation. I assumed it was just an updated version of the original FCOM. I actually went looking for comments on other forums about FCOM superpack and found a lot of pissed off people saying this guy had no right to do what he did. Well, that was news to me. When I was looking for FCOM, I had done a google search for it, since I hadn't tried to use it in a very long time. Google auto complete actually showed FCOM superpack and, I was under the impression that this was just the new and improved FCOM. Sorry for my ignorance. I honestly don't think I've ever seen anyone do anything like this without permission so, I just assumed it was ok and was an updated compilation everyone else was using already. Thanks for the heads up.
