What year are you in?

Post » Fri Apr 08, 2011 4:04 am

My characters only get close to 3E434 before I get bored with them and start over. However, I imagine you all have played more.

So, what year is it in your characters' worlds? Had anyone made it to say....3E999?

Share. :)

Yeah. Play long enough it can go from 3E433 to 3E434.

I take it you haven't played that long?

I've had Oblivion since the day of release, I've played it a lot, but I'm not one of those people that tend to play one character for that long, I'd love to, but I love trying new things out.

Yeah, makes sense. You could do all the factions the game offers (plus KOTN and SI) before the in-game clock turns one year.

Once 3E433 rolls aroud, what could you do?

Does people not sleep much, wait, and explore? In my game time flies by. I rarely do much in a day and make sure I sleep once a day. If in a town I usually spend an entire day visiting stores etc. Sometimes I go swimming and running and jumping for an entire day, just to have fun and get some exercise.

I've only been up to 4E434, but I'm pretty sure my brother is up to 4E435. I think that's because his character has been in jail a lot haha.

Short answer: 434.

Longer answer:

According to Buffy's calendar, her game started in the Imperial Prison in Last Seed 433. It is now Mid Year 434, or ten months later by the Tamrielic calandar.

Her stats show 307 days. She almost never uses the 'wait' function and normally sleeps about 6-8 hours daily. She has never been in jail after the introductory tutorial.

Her flow of time is slower than the game's default. In vanilla, 1 hour of play = 30 hours of game time. In Buffy's world, 1 hour of play = 12 hours of game time.

According to my calendar, her game started in April 2009, and continues with no end in sight. Since we often do things (even quests), then do not save (so she can do them again), it is hard to calculate her hours of play time. It is well above the 500 in her stats, but less than 600 I'm sure.
