Everytime I see an old, abandoned building or burnt-out car or something like that. Well. First I think of Russia (no offense russians, it's that Soviet neglect thing), and then my mind wonders off to some 50's music and nuclear war.

I don't know if this counts as being associated with Fallout, but I remember not long after F3 came out I emptied my pockets at night and discovered a bobby pin. I have no idea where it came from.

seeing things useful in game but useless in reality, picking them up and then thinking i dont need to pick doors or spend a bottle cap xD

There's a huge abandoned factory complex near where I live and I swear it's filled with raiders and stuff to loot. Also, Electric Funeral.
