I'm currently working on a mod, and I need to know how one would refer to a citizen of Whiterun. I've been searching, but to no avail. Whiterunian sounds the most logical, but I prefer not to take any risks.

I mean as in English, German, Dutch, Spanish, ...
I've misphrased my question.
Well, people from Texas are referred to as Texans.
Only playing, I see your point of course.
Well, they are predominately Nords, so I guess Norse.
Actually, I've seem people from Alabama get referred to as Alabamian numerous times.
According to Google, "Utahn" or "Utahan". And I would guess "Shropshirean", or something along those lines.
That's too broad, though, considering pretty much all of Skyrim consists mostly of Nords. I guess I'll have to come up with an alternative.
A Shropshire Lad surely!
The real answer is Salopian I believe.
Well, you're asked about who lives in Germany, I'd say Germans do. Who lives in Skyrim? Nords.
Except your nationality has very little to do with your race.
Well, what do you want to call them then? Whiteys?
Well, that's my question to you all. What would YOU call them? Whiterunian? Whiterunic?
Why dirty stinking Nords of course. What else would you call them?
In my point of view Whiterun means "White Passage". It makes sense because the hold is basically a plains that makes remote places accessible. It's extremely easy to get to Solitude, Dawnstart, Windhelm, the Reach and, of couse to Bruma from the Whiterun Hold. White because it's Skyrim and it's snowy -.-
So, something like Whiterunians or Whiterunner or People from Whiterun. But I prefer to call them Albi Itenera which means, in Latin, "The people from the White Path"
Citizen of Whiterun sounds good to me. Do you even give names to citizens of just a city? I know some do like New Yorkers, but I've never heard of Chicagoers, Charlestoners, etc. Or Romanites (Which I think is a flower) and so on.
