What do you hope in Crysis3 campaign?

What ever, i never finshed part 2 cuz the whole game was a simple weak consoleport which had nothing to do with part 1
A big boss is the last im worry about. On pc we get so much crap thrown at use i really wonder why i should even buy this game.

Origin mandatory, a simple consoleport, a small world with lots and lots off walls and the current story is so silly it makes me laugh!

Agreed. After Crysis 2 I'm not too optimistic about Crysis 3. And now after seeing that 'gameplay' trailer I'm even less inclined to buy it. I read a Crytek representative said they want all platform versions to be exactly the same. No thanks. This isn't 2005 anymore.

In the trailer all I saw were stupidly big guns (taking up 1/3 of the screen?) shooting bright colours and spamming without any thought. Why are they putting so much into "become the hunter" when they're just going to go all Call of Duty/Halo/Shoot as much as you can until stuff is dead?

That and the worst alien design in scifi history making a return. Ugh, I just can't be arsed cutting through those useless, boring fools for another game.

More non-linearity and customization. And separate Maximum power to Maximum strength and Maximum speed like in Crysis 1 on PC

I dunno, what I think is that Crysis 3 needs variety, reading all the posts down to here. Going back to the original post, I would like Larger Maps, Crysis 2 levels were somewhat linear. This relates to Freedom of Route, in Crysis 1, you could plot out a move and do it your way. Although you could still do this in Crysis 2, just not at that same level. I really like the More Vertical idea, it would be nice to be able to take out an enemy from afar. I think Energy was kind of a big disappointment in Crysis 2; I get how the Nanosuit 2 is supposed to be more advanced, but in Crysis 1 I could kick over a hummer and blow it up just by punching it in strength mode! I could only flip over cars in Crysis 2... Sprint and Power were kind of weird... I think that a Nanosuit wearer would be completely capable of sprinting and punching on their own, now when you're jumping like 25 feet or punching a lock open, then I get why energy is used. Pickable and Driveable Objects were kind of limited in Crysis 2, in Dark Heart after you destroy a Ceph Gunship, you could pickup its remains and throw it, but that kind of variety was only found in that level. Earlier in the game, before you fight the Ceph, there are a ton of vehicles; cars, hummers, even ambulances! Wouldn't it be cool to infiltrate a Cell base under the disguise of a doctor in an ambulance! I kinda liked Suit Modules but I still think they were somewhat underpowered... AI and Enemies really disappointed me in Crysis 2. I like to play in Post-Human Warrior, and the AI were still weak. I could take a Pinger and still take it out. Yes I would get close to dying a couple of times, but I would still make it.
Seeing Crysis 3, I hope it's maybe a bit better. If Crytek could make a game like Crysis 1 once, I believe they can do it again. Seeing the gameplay trailer, I like what I see, it looks like large maps, and maybe even a bit of physics! My favorite feature thought, is the ability to take dead aliens weapons! I've always wanted to take a Devastator's Gun, or even a Pingers!

Sorry bout the insanely long post =(

Actually, Alcatraz (the Nanosuit wearer) would die without the Nanosuit. He is barely alive, just because of the Nanosuit. Which means that when the nanosuit runs out of energy or shuts down he can't even walk properly.

actually Alcatraz is fine when the suit's energy runs out, it's only when he's hit with an EMP or anything that seriously damages the suit that his life is endangered if it wasn't for core function mode that is.

You're right TSAndrey, when Hargreave betrayed good 'ol Al with an EMP, Alcatraz nearly died, because the suit shut down. Earlier, when Gould and Al tried to infiltrate a Cell Base and got caught by Lockhart and Strickland, Lockhart shut the suit down and Al had trouble walking. Guess we got to give Crytek that one.

-A mature and elaborated plot. I love Crysis 2, but maybe the final enemies were... awful, uncharismatic, boring...

-Better AI

-Been able to prone.

-Air stomp always.

-More vehicles.

BTW: I look forward to getting that awsome bow in my hands!!!

On most points I agree with you. But I think the AI were just fine, besides the bugs that is. and I hope air stomp is a basic suit function and not a module. Even in C2's prime, I rarely saw people using air stomp. and when they did, they'd usually miss and get killed. And I'd love (and hate) being able to prone. I'd absolutely love vehicles, especially in multiplayer.

I just want a better multiplayer experience. This time, support the game, patch it once in a while, and CARE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY. Don't do what you did with Crysis 2. Don't get me wrong though, Crysis 2 was a great game, one of my favorite of all time, but all the problems with the MP was, and still is, very frustrating.

Also, dedicated servers is a must! Other than that, I hope for a more deep story than C2 had.

I would really like PRONE. My bro got Battlefield 3 when it was released, and prone changes everything.

Physics in Crysis 3 (real physics, not just some pre-made damaged models) would be nice too!

I agree with pretty much everything with the OP. Also, I'd like to see physics, that are at least comparable to the first game. The physics in
Crysis 2 weren't too impressive.

I'd like secondary objectives to have a stronger impact on the plot. In Crysis and Crysis Warhead secondary objectives were pretty useless, the best thing you could get was some ammo and weapons.

What if it was a sixy chick voice? Would you turn it up then? :)
Oh yah... Agree with you there!

What most of you dont understand, Crysis 2 actually has the capabilities too out do C1, the down side was Consoles, they tether down a plethora of options, although i do hope Crytek does give the PC community some added Goodies like able to upload custom maps without it being a hassle. Large maps and vehicles are a must. Dont make C3 a lone wolf game, where as in C2 one player could destroy a team, C1 depended on teamwork to even make a dent on the scoreboard.

Agreed; that's also why I disliked Crysis' "open world" because yes, it was "open", but those "open areas" were pointless to explore because of the level design - the best way to the objective was always the direct route.
