in the future fallout games, the events of new Vegas are sure to be mentioned, so what do you hope the canon ending will be?
Are you hoping that in the next fallout game people will talk about the treacherous male courier who helped legion take over the Mojave? Or do you want people to talk about the kind hearted woman who helped house keep control over new Vegas? This applies to every single possible ending, such as powder gangers being dead or alive, arcade going to California or staying in Mojave, things like that.
I hope the canon is a female with neutral karma that makes Vegas independent.

Legion ending (no matter which gender), as it appears more controversial and more interesting in the setting than the rest of them.

Well maybe yes man will be chosen setting an example to other wastelands to be independent. What i wonder is what item will be spread across the wasteland like the survival guide, if any.
Problem with legion being the ones to win is we'll probably end up having to deal with them again, that or copycats will arise. Though i guess a problem with yesman taking over the world could end out being like Terminator 3 :gun:

While the game is naturally biased in favor of NCR game play wise, the story is set up to favor House, IMO. . Mr.House saves your life, so the Courier would be wanting to make it up to him. Not to mention the Courier IS a Courier, so he would probably meet House and at least deliver the chip. By that point, he will be offered a lucrative job by House and be given the Presidential Suite to the Lucky 38. I don't see how the Courier can throw all that away, just to be a merc for hire for the NCR or the Legion.

I'm not trying to look at this politically but realistically. I don't think the NCR or Legion will win not because of their values, or their flaws, but because the Courier's adventures just flow towards Mr.House. And once they meet, I don't think the Courier could get out of that web. The only way out IMO is Yes Man.
