The god-danged unmarked quests, why not just add a sub-group of quests that don't use map-markers.
God.

I don't know, I don't have anything I deeply hated in Fallout 3. :shrug:

They're not big enough to be full quests. Real quests give you like 300+ XP. The unmarked ones give you 50 or 100 XP at best.

Just respawning containers mostly since we know know we can sleep in any bed now. Makes finding unique living arrangements alot easier.

Then add a little tab that says, mini-quests.
I still want to do them, but they FLARE UP MAH OCD, because I can't manage them.

Agreed, I don't want to get drunk after drinking one (that would just be annoying), but if we drink 2, we should get visual effects, and if we drink 3, we should get the staggering animation that was shown at E3.

So it's confirmed?

Chinese Stealth Armor- The armor made your character broken. Although I got a feeling it will appear in new vegas as it was suppose to be in VB

Grim Reaper Spirits- I love this perk but I don't think it should be transfer over to New Vegas. The perk made the game too easy.

Almost Perfect Perk- Same reason as above

Enclave- Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind fighing the Enclave but they don't need to transfer over to New Vegas, heck they weren't even in Fallout 1

I heard so much about the Chinese Stealth Armor, so when I got it I never used it.
EDIT: OMG I saw a youtube video, it's basically an unlimited expansion upon a normal Stealth-BOY.
Does it ever run out?
If not, dear god that's broken and I will stay away from it in New Vegas.

There is definitely a staggering animation, as well as one for throwing up. There were a lot of drunk NCR troops on the strip. We don't know if the player will make use of them.

I agree, it would be much more challenging to have to figure out which of the three same raiders was the real one, or maybe alcohol poisoning or uncontrolled projectile vomiting.

telepathic guards

This is another good one.

I fricking hated this in Oblivion. If I sneak into a guy's house when no one is looking and very quietly bludgeon him to death before he can start shouting, I shouldn't have the whole damn town coming down on me like I just strangled a puppy in the town square. Theres just no way they could know.

I've seen the throwing up animation, but I was wondering about the PC animations...

The "Jack Of All Trades And Master Of All" leveling system. But that's already been addressed.

Hopefully the SPECIAL stats will mean more as well.

This wasn't a consistent problem.
I Very easily snuck into someone's house and murdered them without ANYONE noticing, other times the guards would be on my [censored] so fast...I think it has to do with the weapons you used, how fast you killed them, and weather they fought back.

NB4 Someone say 'Everything'

Everything.

Though that did not happen.

- Unmotivated exploring is something I hope Obsidian has looked into. Endless caves and officebuildings didn't really feel rewarding or interesting in a long run. If the exploring was more quest- instead of idleness related, it would at least help in actually wanting to see all the random stuff scattered in the map.

- Godbuilds.
- Too much levelscaling in mainquest areas.

I saw a drastic improvement in that regard over Oblivion, IMO. Most places had a bit of flair to them now, instead of Yet Another Ayleid Ruin/Cave/Fort like in Oblivion.

Level-scaling should be done like this.
PC = lvl 1
NPC= lvl 1

PC= lvl 2
NPC= lvl 2

PC= lvl 3
NPC = lvl 2.75

PC= lvl 4
NPC=lvl 3.25

Of course some enemies won't start at lvl 1, but rather lvl 15, or higher.

The half-baked AI and excessive Stealth usage completely breaking the difficulty curve. With a 100 Sneak skill and the CSA you could complete Broken Steel at level 12 or so with any silenced weapon or melee weapon you wanted. Or a boatload of pulse grenades if you don't mind your karma going down the tubes.

It was pathetic.

Oh and XP requirements for leveling up lengthened. Thankfully the most recent Bethesda podcast gives me hope for that.

In FO3, I hit the max level ceiling when I was only really about 50-60% done with the game so that took some of the fun out of some of the more random dungeons with not much to do or see beside exterminate. I like the idea that they're making it sound like reaching level thirty is more earned this time around.

I'm not asking for a horrifying japanese RPG-esque level of grinding, just finding a nice balance that should keep most players feel rewarded throughout rather than the quick stream of powerups in FO3 that stops abruptly.
