Not to jump into a fire in joining this debate, but you mention your characters always reflect what you would do and you then stated you'd kill him because you don't agree with him. Doesn't that kind of make you a sociopath and/or psychopath?

Qin Shi Huang oppressed the Confucians.
Genghis Khan conquered the Arabs.
Joseph Stalin purged the Soviets.

Echonite executes the religious.

Too bad Don LaFontaine died, it'd have been epic to hear him narrate that.

Perhaps you should read what I said.

"Every character I make, is at their core, a bit my myself. As such, my own opinions and judgement go along with that."

Never said they reflect what I would do, just what I think. Thoughts of killing someone come to everyones mind at some point. Its whether or not we act on it that defines us. I know better then to actually go out on a killing rampage, but as said, within the context of the game, that is the best action given my judgments.

I think I was wrong anyway........now that I think about it I don't think Genghis Khan was in control of the Mongols when they took over the Arab nations.

Anyway, I see your point but respectfully disagree with part of it as I feel that not everyone thinks of killing a real person, there are pacifists among us. I even went into the military as a medic because I refused to lead to the death of another living person (virtual people are all good.) So I do see your point, but again, I disagree that everyone has such thoughts.

Also, a quick edit so it's known.......I'm not a religious individual, I don't need a mystical book to make me pacifistic, I'm just overly nice.

Because I do not agree. Simple as that. And within the context of the game... Let me stress that. Within the context of the game, killing him is the best action as reasoning is not in the cards. I have not yet completed the DLC, so I am unsure what come up later, but that bridge will be crossed when and if it shows up.

That doesn't strike you as silly? Killing him for believing something you do not? He isn't hurting anybody by believing in God (okay, he's hurting the White Legs a lot, admittedly). He isn't attacking you, or demanding that you convert. You're essentially killing him because he quoted scripture in your presence. That's insane. Is your character insane? Then your character should probably not do it.

I must have misread the title of this post.. where it said " Religouse debate" could have sworn it said "what did you like?"
Liked it all.. thought Graham maintained his mysterious nature and was not too revealing while making it exciting he opened up at all and more than you would prob expect in RL.
And if you Google it you will find that Christians slaughtered anyone (Pagans etc) that did not convert.. ever heard of the crusades? this story was not far fetched at all.
The Catholic church took out a "contract" on Martin Luther for translating the bible.. religion is violent its as easy to find out as opening any history book.
Great job on the DLC.. made it to lvl 40 and have 46 locations uncovered thus far.
And not killing the white legs off didnt make sense.. Zion was the "holy grail" in FONV fresh water, game, open land.. it would have been insane to be pushed out and leave this land for Ceasar ( who i already shot anyways)
leaves alot to think on though from a philisophical view.
Loved it.

Some people are defective and need to be removed.
If you were in the military and could not fight for your country then your a coward.. call it pacifist its less insulting than what you really are.
(and yes I'm a vet) You have a nice day and don't dirty your hands just sit back and let everyone else pay for your freedom.

Yeah! Putting yourself in harms way to help people is just the epitome of cowardice.

Hes using it as a shroud for his actions. The way I see it currently is that Daniel is planing an evacuation. Graham on the other hand wants to go in and slaughter the White-Legs with the holy word as justification.

Graham even said that he doesn't like killing, but when done righteously, it is acceptable. Since I am in a position to basically control the future of the region, I would prefer that kind of person not be a part of it.

Medics are commonly found on the battlefield. It's extremely dangerous. Your comments are ill-advised.

I completed this today. What I liked most was the scenery and mood throughout Zion. Very well done. I also liked were the weapons and equipment. They were either interesting to use, or cool to use, or unique and cool designs. Sometimes a combination of some of that. The crafting in the DLC was also done well, along with the unique form of poison. The Survivalist story was also very well executed and added a good amount of story reward for exploration.

every people have the rigth to theyr own opinion Military personal have a job to do and they do it, that does not mean they are haertless or indiferent tht is why some soffer of PTS

no back on topic

Great DLC is Great i just kinda disapointed with the armour, player that preffer heavy armours keep having no choise DLC after DLC lets hope devs make an efort not onlly to please every wepon faction but to plaese every Armour preference, and allso fix the bonus on high end Armours makes no sence the Desert Ranger Armour to have no bonus associated at all this is a pre armour advanced tech Armour and it's just wierd that a slave rag has more bonus +1 per in most cases than a piece of pre war advanced tech that has none makes even less sence to me that a simple first recon barret gives you moster bonus to crit and a ranger helmet gives you nothing

I forgot to mention that I picked up the "Fight the Power" Perk, which seems incredibly useful considering my character is a brotherhood of steel zealot who is enemies with practically everyone except the BoS.

I usually despise tribals. I hate the Great Khans soooo much, they are a bunch of winy babies. They pride themselves on raiding caravans especially NCR ones, and then cry about it when they get attacked for it.

But the people of Zion I enjoyed very much, especially Joshua Grahm. Daniel not so much....

Did you know that Sneering Imperialist applies to Great Khans as well? And fits a hardcoe Brotherhood zealot like a power-glove?

I just wish there was more opportunities to use it in dialog. :(

.45 Auto Pistol. I use it for everything now. If there is a DLC where you raid the gates of hell I'll still go in with just the M1911.

Oh and the Grunt perk. Makes my M1911 even more bada** :hubbahubba:

If you think he is a damaging influence because he is willing to justify his own sins with Christianity, then are you not equally maleficent for making the decision that he deserves to die and then justifying it by saying he is a blight on the region? You should try talking to him. He already turned away from a darker road once. He can do so again.

Were we ever actually told that the modern Khans of post-Fallout 2 era are raiders? I was under the impression that they got by on selling chems and trading with others these days, and were only in conflict with the NCR because they wanted to remain firmly independent.

anyone who was military will tell you combat medics are in combat as well not and thats really going off the post as it was stated.
Im alittle touchy about the subject as 4 boys from my nephews platoon were killed last week by a road side bomb.. i sure hope someone didnt avoid killing the guys that buried it.
my comments are my own and ill advised or not i think living in freedom but saying you would not raise your hand in defense of it is BS
