Skyrim has taken quite a beating on the boards and I thought it might be helpful to look at the entire series and talk about what we like most - and please feel free to include comments on all the games. Let's try to keep this thread positive.

For myself: freedom to roam (and ignore MQ), a new world to explore, new lore to explore (books!!!!), lots of quests, customization (you can play different character types), music (of course), and interesting themes. We don't talk about that last one as much but I've really enjoyed TES' stories and the ideas they talk about.

Overall I just love TES.

Yes, you took the words out of my mouth (or keyboard? lol) What I LOVE LOVE LOVE about TES is the wide open world! I just love to go exploring, finding new caves, new settlements etc. It's like you are entering a living, breathing world.

I also enjoy the Lore and that the world of Tamriel is steep in rich history. Sometimes it's actually quite mind-bogling how much history the devs have created. It brings the world and all it's people to life.

Oh and I LOVE that you can enter every house and look in all the containers and take the stuff off tables and rearrange and decorate your house! Loot, sweet sweet loot!
