This is for people who have played hardcoe Mode. Believe it or not I've only played this game for about 15 minutes since it's came out. >_< I am planning on launching the game tonight and giving it a shot on hardcoe mode.

I'm just curious other than putting the game on hardcoe Mode is there anything extra you do, or does the game practically play itself?

What are the extra things you do? (I don't have mods, but you can share your mod experiences with me)

Any pro tips for a survival newbie?

J E Sawyer's mod - basically an extra hardcoe mode (not in that way).

hardcoe mode is not that hard once you get used to it.

General tips - take advantage of any water source, radiated or not, carry only a couple of weapons, ideally ones that share the same ammo to cut down on weight. Survival skill of course.
