What do you NOT want in Skyrim?

Multiplayer, Dumbed down gameplay, Bad armor that all looks the same,Vats or anything like it, Races that all look like humans with different skin colors.

Edit: also don't want all knowing gaurds that know right away that you did a crime eventhough NO ONE saw you!

Hmmm.

- Oblivion-style level scaling, random loot, etc.
- Morrowind type of side-quests

- Compulsatory quests pop-ups, compass and fast travel and did I mention the godawfulbloodypopups ?
- Lack of lore and politics, black-and-white world, etc... Oversimplification/ child view of the world.

- 5 or 6 unmotivated voices to do all of the landmass, since we have to have NPC voicing
- "Uncanny valley" NPCs, but I'm not holding my breath
- Copy paste dungeons, etc... lack of visual variety.

And so, and so. Basically, I *do* want to feel like I'm travelling in a real, complex, challenging world. :)

I don't want an oblivion type main quest. Why ? It was boring and i hardly wanted to complete it. So i hope bethesda takes their time with the MQ. Also oblivion level scaling. And the "I have no skill in (Weapon) put i hit everything when i swing at (Enemy). I also don't want axe to be considered a blunt weapon :verymad: Also actually i liked long blade and short blade as 1 skill.

dude your mistaken, the limbs EXPLODED they did not get cut off.

Uh...why do you not want leveling? I rather like advancing from level 1 to level 2 to level 3 and so on... :confused:

Having unnamed characters.

Honestly, having 'Bandit' and 'Highwayman' come up was one of the low points of Oblivion, for me.

Another nirnroot style quest.

I actually thought that Nirnroot was one of the best parts of the game, it rewarded you for exploring, and I was really happy each time I got one...

The rewards could have been made better, though. :P

We find out the Adoring Fan's grand son is Dovakiin and we have to take him on a massive main quest escort mission.

Hes also a spoiled nobility. We have to sadly defend him against legions of Cliffracers.

I don't want Nascar racing tracks and cars in the game, it would be out of place. I don't want to see a Steyr SSG 69 in the game either, and lots and lots of other things.

For those who doesn't want level scaling in Skyrim, prepare to be disappointed. Pretty much all CRPGs have some kind of level scaling.

Completley agree. As shocking as this may be, little old perfect Morrowind had level-scaling. Its not like Oblivion just suddenly came up with the idea, although I will admit that Oblivion took it too far.

I dont want:
Generic NPC's (New Vegas, was horrible about this)
NPC's that have no schedules (MW)
NPC's that don't interact with each other (MW)
Morrowind style combat
Oblivions fast travel
Oblivions compass

fallout gore is a definate no. (assassins creed "combat gore" would be ok, like throw knives and daggers getting wedged in people)
the same engine as fallout NV is not a good idea.
no beards
the same voice actor for a race (like one guy for imperials, another for red guard)
an "oblivion" story line, cos i was fed up of having to run around for martin while he sat on his royal [censored] all day looking the same page of a f*cking book for 87 hours ?_?

anyone disagree with me?

- Level scaling as drastic as Oblivion's
- Multiplayer in any way, shape, or form
- "Essential" guard characters
- Cliffracers
- A game world that's almost completely snowy without any variation whatsoever
- Psychic guards
- Only one voice for each race/gender
- In that spirit, I don't want celebrity voice actors- waste of money. Just get more voice actors in general.
- A non-zoomable and non-colored map
- A vampire system that make you weaker when you feed...WTF

- Entire races that have the EXACT same voice.
- Dungeons that look exactly the same except for a few bits and pieces that's been moved around.

Please, just change it up a bit and make people and places more unique, and it'll be perfect!

What I don't want is to be hard pressed for entertainment at level 30 because bandits have olympic mountains of health and clearing them out becomes a matter of quantity and time.

I hope the map looks way more detailed.

And please make feeding worth our while. I'm risking my ass to be discovered by gaurds to become weaker? huh?

Races having the same voices half the time.
guns
Axes under blunt I mean at least add it to blade!
Only bows under marksman, (crossbows and throwing knives, spears and everything)
skooma being legal, there should be hunters or guards who find you if you have skooma in your system.
old leveling system- there should be a different leveling system in skyrim then there was in Morrowind and oblivion.
favourite character dying
Dark brotherhood betrayal thing - having to kill the whole sanctuary nope, I don't like that one bit.
and LACK OF BEARDS! I mean seriously you must have beards in skyrim. Imagine an epic viking based nord taking off his helmet with no beard... Have to have beards.

i personally don't want faction reputations that lead to quest fails.
unlike most forum members i see, i want to be able to do everything on one character. :shrug:

I don't want bandits/marauders always wearing top notch armor such as ebony, glass, daedric. It should be rare in most circumstances, and some pieces should be found in certain areas. I liked that about morrowind....finding a rare ebony helm hidden in a cave somewhere...not hoping a marauder may be wearing one.

I don't want to have crappy premade classes like they were in oblivion. I always play premade classes and I was annoyed that some classes had skills in their set that made no sense. No stealth for nightblades? Illusion as a skill for knights? No armor skill for battlemages, but they have blunt and blade as skills? I didn't get it
