What do you play Oblivion on?

Post » Mon Sep 20, 2010 7:02 am

Whenever I play Oblivion (Xbox) I like talking to other people also playing oblivion. I figured why not make a thread so people can share their GT or PSN thingies or PC... IP's?

I don't understand, I put a poll in this.

When I play I put all my concentration into my roleplaying. I can't imagine wanting to talk while I'm playing. That would be like talking during my favorite movie. But to each his own. ;)

The whole aspect of talking while roleplaying is mostly based around Xbox.

Well, I started on the ps3 with the GOTY edition.
Then I heard about all the mods and things on the pc version and got the non GOTY version.
I'd say it was a fair trade :)

I play on PC, because of the mods. But I sort of wish I played on X-Box, I looove talking to people when I play Far Cry 2 and Assassin's Creed on X-Box, it just makes it so much more fun for me.

Then again, I can always talk on the phone or text or use MSN while I'm playing Oblivion, so... I just need Oblivion-people to talk to and I'm all set. :P Might be time for converting my friends to the Elder Scrolls obsession, but I probably won't have much luck. They're not really gamey-type people.

I used to play on 360 but now I play on PC and love it. XBL tag is RainmanMP as is like every other alias of mine on anything I go on.

Well you could always have your xbox on, whle having the channel on something else, to talk to people while you play oblivion. I've done that with other PC games.

Ya I could do that. I've done it before while playing Starcraft since XBL doesn't make my game lag like vent or ts.

I'm on PC. I play the game in a tiiiiiny little window up in the corner of my screen so I can use better graphics settings with less lag. It's a good thing I've got a fairly big monitor anyway. I don't have a PS3 or Xbox 360 and I'm not willing to make the investment for one game. I like mods when I play Oblivion anyway.

Former 360 player converted to PC via mod usage for Fallout 3, purchased Steam's GOTY Deluxe package to retain all of my purchased DLC on Xbox, and haven't looked back since.

My XBL is my username, but I use the network (and console) so rarely now that I've canceled my Gold subscription.

I play on PC. The only talking I do is to NPCs. That can be fun and funny, as can be seen http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1102291-funny-replies-you-make-to-npcs-2/page__p__16121573__fromsearch__1&#entry16121573

My XBox is just too far away from my computer to do that... my computer's in my room and my XBox has taken over our biggest tv screen in the living room, which is at least 12 feet away from my computer, which isn't a laptop. :P Some kind of long connecting wires... Hmm.

There's a wall in between... I don't know if the controller works when there's a wall between it and the XBox.

I first played on PS3, but now I play on PC because I have a good computer.

I never played the PS3 version after I played PC.
