Prior to being shot by Benny was very evil, now tries to do whatever good he can in the wastes with the skills he has.

Some Prefessor that is good at talking and using terminals, and doing science. Also good at using energy weapons.
Some dude that knows he's in a game and knows that patches came out to power up explosives, that's why he uses them.
Some sniper like Boone that lands critical hits, either by crouching undetected or by Luck.....and perks....and his beret.
Some dude named the Winterburner.
Some dude that is good at survival.

Currently, a Vampire who went underground just before the bombs fell, and has recently re-emerged; killed the Courier, and got mistaken for them. (Yep, I love my Vampires )

Not from what I've heard-- but I can't judge too much since I've not read it. Still, I will admit to being an Anne Rice fan (read most of them)-- and of course, the original and best Vampire stories of all: Dracula and Carmilla

My character is pretty much a loner who wanders around sniping troublesome varmints/raiders from extreme distances... 2560x1600 res monitor and picking them off when their head is about 1-3 pixels lol.

So many ways to releplay this game. Favourite so far is a fast talking old drinking buddy of President Hamilton who was sneaking into the Mojave as a Courier to investigate corruption and incompetence. Grey handle bar moustache, eye glasses, business suit, cowboy hat and Lucky for a side arm.

Scared, half crippled refugee who can only use one handed weapons. Shadow walker with silenced pistols for the win.

Wary survivalist type who was out doing a water chip style search for his hidden community when he gets dragged into the main quest.

A tribal shaman ("Any sufficently advanced technology is indistiguishable from magic.") with a high repair and science skill.

Boozy, good natured old prize fighter.

One line they all have in common though is "I might have sided with you Cesar but you made one mistake. You let me see how you treat the women."

I play a nobody who has no direction until he meets the Brotherhood. Disillusioned by two forces who seek nothing but conquest and people who stop at nothing to control and destroy, he finds solace in the protective and non-interfering Brotherhood of Steel. As the Brotherhood trusts him, my character finds them to be his guiding light and true brothers trying to survive never-ending war and humanity's sociological unending downward spiral of self annihilation. My character decides to free his brothers from the fear of the two powers, helps install Hardin as Elder and goes on a mission to destroy the Bull and the Bear and all their barbaric ways so the Brotherhood can resume their missions.

It's terribly gauche and unimaginative I know, but my last character was Mr. Sinister (tags Science, Medicine, EW), and for dikeing around with I've just created Solid Snake (tags Sneak, Unarmed, Guns, with extra points in Survival). What can I say, I'm a svcker for stupid crossovers.
