I store them at three different locations so that chance is very unlikely for me. But if they would disappear... I′d be sad

I'd start my character anew and revel in the joy of rediscovery. In fact, I did start her anew at 1000 hours due to a combination of a new computer and race mod that required a new start. 800+ hours later, I'm glad I did.

I maintain pretty detailed notes on the installation process and mods that I use. That info, along with our key saves are backed up manually to a separate data storage device weekly.

I would do what I do. I would remember fondly the time I spent with my old friends, and I would start a new character.
