Jern was a small boy when he found out that when he used some kind of combination of words, strange things happened. He was a great warrior, and a promising mage. His father tought him the ways of the
sword, while his mother trained him in the arts of destruction. At the day he became 22 he was drinking with his friends and they
thought it would be nice to smoke some marihuana. After a couple of joints, he got the most brilliant idea! He casted an invisibility spell, and went for a little walk. After 2 hours and 100 metres further,
he found the Imperial Guard Captain, Solanum Tuberosum (potato in latin). The captain was muttering to himself: "Damn her, it isn't small, and who cares i couldnt get it up? " So Jern stumbled in front of him, and shouted: FUS RO DAH!!!!! , Solanum got the [censored] scared out of him, and Jern passed out. When he woke up he found himself in prison with a huge hangover, and no memory of his past.... He soon found out from a fellow prisoner, that he was sentenced to death.... Executed by hanging, on the 11th of november....

What I hate about any background I make for Skyrim is that my character starts out knowing NOTHING.

Trained as a warrior ... WRONG.

Raised by mages ... WRONG.

Tough life on the streets ... WRONG.

It's almost like the only background that makes any sense is that I'm hatched from an egg or born while on Death Row.

I dont get why people even make backstories, this was just for fun, but some of them really are creepy xD

They do it to Role-Play. RP seems to be a lost art these days. I recall spending days writting backstories for my D&D characters before we would even start the first gaming session. Some of this has carried over to CRPG's and many people still want a deep background for a character they play all by themselves, just to get more into the role and to give the character his or her incentives for their playstyle.

For example in Dragon Age Origins I'm playing a City Elf, who, because of her background, has a strong hatred for Humans and particularly nobles. She was played this way all through the game, based on her background story. Her playthrough was much different than my Human Noble character.

Thanks for clearing that up never saw it that way, doubt if my backstory will affect my playstyle ahahahaha xD

well atleast it's not the same old stuff that everybody makes up like they're an orphan to uncertain parents, He was raised single handidly by his father after his mother died giving birth to him and that they're parents always die before the actual game starts.
