Post » Mon Nov 16, 2009 7:45 am

1 ) Where is my AK-47 ? why the most use weapon in the world suddenly dissapeared ?

2 ) the art armor design is terrible. look at enforcer 2 ? funny looking

3 ) where is the random accounter ?

4 ) where is the weapon scematic ?

5 ) bullet scematic for what ? why not just buy it ? too much info in the weapon ammo GUI. get headache

6 ) where is the Cool location for exploration? plz don't give us caves and empty dessert. give us something like Rivert city, Megaton. Metro tunnel.

7 ) caesar ? and genkis khan. with a man wearing skirt ? you must be jokin. just wonder how they will pee, act like women ?

8 ) the music ? oh plz. add more.

9 ) the rest i don't mention they are all are good stuff. don't change it.

I'd prefer it if the crafting menus didn't dump you out every time you make a batch of something.

I made a freakin' whole list, but my computer lagged up and didn't post my post. (Freaking connection)
Anyways, my list was deleted, but here are some stuff on the list:
- Un-Nerfed Fat Man
- Un-Nerfed Sniper Rifle
- More enemies roaming the map
- More enemies as a threat at level 34
- Un-Nerfed High Fire Rate Weapons
- Better Energy Weapons
- More common normal explosive ammo
- More Super Mutants
- Bigger Map
- More Legion areas and people around the map.
That was not the whole list, but it was some of it.
(I gotta copy all of my posts)

Plus a bigger Brotherhood of Steel

Random Encounters.
Interiors to explore.
More/better combat.
Sprint.
More locations that are not pointless.

Can't really think of anymore since I realized how good New Vegas actually is, once playing Fallout 1 and 2.

I feel like if you are going to go to some (pointless) place, it should have it's own story like primm. Every spot would most likely have some sort of visitor after 200 years. I liked the vaults because of this. I could open up a whole story inside of it....I actually like more inhabitants.
It seems like every vault or place had this tragic accident and now their are only 4 people. I would like to see some population in some parts and little in others.

Also I want my in-game quests (like the billboard one or the little ones where you help give food supply or direct power) to actually affect the game. I was hoping the sign guy would put up more signs or that I would see power in the places I directed it and maybe some comments about the difference.

Make quests not like the BoS or the Yes Man one's. I feel like that is how a dev gets lazy when you have quests where you just go to a vault and grab something. Yet again, it can be very good.

Tie in side quests with the story. There was like 78 side quests and you should tie them in to the plot. Like the power plant one should have a direct effect on the environment and that could be part of the main story where you need to do that to return power to a section of new vegas. Also the strip had way to many load points and wasn't big enough. It should also have had more people and especially in the casinos it needs people. It was so empty. Also does paint not exist anymore? Why not have a quest where you need to get paint materials and not only that....after you beat it the walls of casinos and whatnot will now be PAINTED!!!...

Again more people in certain areas and less in others.

You home base (like megaton or the strip) and your house...mainly your house (like the lucky 38 suite) should be more customizable even more than fallout 3's megaton house. When your companions are in there have them talk more often...sleep in their own beds (specially made for them, like a pillow in the corner for rex). Be able to talk to them and have them suggest what they want for their own section for their room. Make your home a little more fun. Let me be in there and have some sort of mini-game to do.

Just things like that...

Be more like the originals, not like TB or Iso, as that wouldn't sit to well with some people, but generally more alike to the originals with the game style and RPG mechanics.

1. Less combat, more pacifist options.

2. Less NCR, more Legion.

3. Less land exploration, more lore exploration.

4. Less caves, make a couple of big caves like the originals.

5. More Energy Weapons.

6. Perks every three levels.

This pretty much.

Less fluid shooter gameplay (by default) with more robust effects from skills and stats - and generally less forgiving gameplay.

This. I like unforgiving gameplay because a Post-Nuclear Wasteland is bound to be unforgiving.

The term "lazy" doesnt exist in the gaming industry,

And is not just "go to the vault and grab something"

Is "find the vaults, fight with the creeps, grab the quest item"

1. NO.
2. Ummm...ya....NO.
3.Why?
4.Why?
5.Just hell no. Guns are much more believable than energy weapons and further more theres more guns than EW.
6. Thats just pointless.

I'm sorry, but in a world filled with mutants, ghouls, mutated animals, and SCIENCE! Energy weapons should be ignored because guns are more "believable?"

What?

I disagree with Alex on less exploration (I just love to explore, I can't help it) but everything else he said I can get behind.

1. Why? We should be given the option to play as we like.
2. The game is completely biased towards the NCR, it makes it seem strange that the Legion is capable of fighting them when you cant even find them in strength, it serves to flesh out the world more.
3. Because that is what is important in an RPG like Fallout.
4. Because small caves are worthless, large caves are where it's at.
5. I don't see why the hell not, they were phasing out guns for energy weapons before the war, it makes sense, he never said "less guns", he just said more energy weapons.
6. It further promotes specialization, allowing for greater replayability and role immersion, this is a role-playing game.

I see absolutely no reason both of you can't be satisfied. How about:
1. More combat options AND more pacifist options.
2. More NCR AND more Legion.
3. More land explorations AND more lore exploration.
4. More caves of all sizes.
5. More weapons of all types.
6. Maybe have perks every three levels, but have more to choose from and make them more powerful.

Compromise is all about being inclusive, not exclusive. There's no reason diametrically opposing views need to be mutually exclusive, make it work by being mutually inclusive.

I see what you did there. A subtle double negative, meaning you really mean humans can be satisfied. Very clever.....and sneaky.
