Ho about a massive mudcrab that takes a ton of damage to kill and you get to turn it into a giant house.

Nonono, you don't kill it- as Dovakhiin, you're able to tame it then build your house on its back! Player housing and a mount rolled into one! Mounted combat? Do you know how many archers you can fit on this thing? :D

Snowcrabs! They burrow into the ground and snow accumulates on their exposed shells. Discreet enough that you're going to step out of town one day and suddenly find the entire earth beneath your feet rising up to attack you!

I'm still on the lookout for mudcrabs that are fiercer than me. Maybe Skyrim has these mythical super mudcrabs.

A guy called Briring mentioned in morrowind royal and colossal mudcrabs, (much) larger than the usual ones. Would be nice to see them.

And, of course, it would be nice to see an Emperor Crab...

Dragon Mudcrabs FTW a fire breathing one a chameleon one a spiky one a warlord one a magic one a massive one that is disguised as a mountain so you can be going up and VERY VERY SLOW EARTHQUAKE

to the above post they could just call them (spike) crabs or (fire)crabs but without the brackets just change mud to something else like SUPER DUPER TASTY CRABO YUMMYO

it was also quite annoying when you would hear the batle music play but ou didnt know what it was then AHHHHHHHHHHHH MUDCRAB!!!!

I believe you mean "Irony", not "Juxtaposition" but anyway, different types doesn't have to mean not mud. Could have a giant mudcrab, or an intelligent mudcrab, or a mudcrab with extra carapace.

One of either works for the intended purpose.

Eitherway, you've seen my point.
Although your example is like saying an Indian is different to a Pakistani.

I'd rather keep the regular old mudcrabs we've all grown accustomed to over the years. ;)

i want a peasant mudcrab arena
how can you possible swim in the sea without the mudcrabs around???
but most of all....... if anything matters at all..
i wanna get all geared up
i prefer simple sharp blades
& powered up
and find myself a lone young baby mudcrab
and the rest is between us

As long as the mudcrabs aren't so aggressive that they want to claw the guts out of you every time they see you, and as long as the mudcrabs don't spot you so far away, and finally as long as there aren't so many mudcrabs.

It was hella' annoying in Oblivion with mudcrabs for above reasons. I'd rather call them murdercrabs than mudcrabs in Oblivion :(

This.

Murdercrabs? Mugcrabs?
