What do you think the hardest enemy was?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 11:38 am

In Morrowind and both expansions who (or what) do you think was the most challenging fight? It does not have to be statistically the strongest enemy. Who do you feel was the most memorable and challenging I guess "boss fight" is the word you can use. I would have to say Gaenor, the begger elf in Mournhol temple district. He was a pain to hit let alone kill, it seemed like my fight with him went on forever.

I've experienced pretty much all the enemies in the morrowind world, and I'd have to say the most fierce and toughest was.... THE SCRIB!! :woot:

Just kidding, but seriously I'd say Umbra can be pretty tough.

Gaenor, Gedna Relvel and Almalexia. There really aren't any other difficult enemies in the game apart from them.

Yes, Gaenor.

But before him, the toughest fight I had was probably against Dagoth Ur, even though we were both bathing in lava, silly me. <_<

All the werewolves you fight at the end of the Bloodmoon MQ.
They tear you apart so fast you can barely understand which one to hit first.

Hircine himself isn't very easy either.

For basic Morrowind: Vivec. Fighting him was always a challenge.
For Mournhold: I would say Gedna Relvel, only because she dishes out more damage than Gaenor. Gaenor is just annoying.
For Solstheim: The werewolf packs. One was difficult, but when it got to two or three, survival was bleak.

besides those high end enemies,I think those bandits with two handed axes or hammers in caves are the hardest, one hit and my low level character are more or less dead,or on the ground getting a second hit = dead.
lazy so haven′t look up names and locations, but that cave from seyda neen towards hla oad got some of those, and from balmora towards pelagiad (bowl-quest) yeilds such weapons.
and boss crito as well iirc.

Gaenor, Almalexia, the werewolf packs... And a mental fight were the Draugr in Bloodmoon, they're so scary I can barely bring myself to enter any caves I remember them being in... the noises and the red eyes and the blackness and how they're tiny and scaryscaryscary!

Yeah, I couldn't say it better my self. :D

That was indeed a memorable fight I never forget for a long time and all that fighting took place in this http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Hircine%27s_Hunt. :)

Gaenor was awful to try and kill. Umbra and Gedna Relvel. And I always have trouble with the Imperfect.

the first time i tried to kill dagoth ur was hard because my xbox lagged so much, on the computer he was pathetically easy when the fight is running smooth, um umbra was a sonofa[censored] to fight the first time until i levitated above him and rained down dwemer bolts. Amalexia was a punk thanks to dwarven darts, the hardest was probably werewolf packs, one on one they're punks but getting ganked by 3 or 4 svcks

I think Daogth Ur because he can always restore his health so well.

Not if you can take him down in two or three hits.

He's nothing compared to some of the enemies in Tribunal and Bloodmoon. I'd say Tribunal's enemies are the toughest. Almalexia, Gaenor, Imperfect, Gedna Relvel. You need an actual strategy to take these enemies down. Brute force doesn't work. You need to be prepared.

The Morrowind engine. For all my trying, I still haven't found a way to avoid getting one-shotted by her CTD attack.

Gaenor is definitely a lesson in humility for all those who are contemptuous of Wood Elves.

A few:

Umbra
Gaenor
Dagoth Ur was pretty tough
Divayth Fyr

And a few that were tough considering the level:

Scribs (that paralysis can really hurt a level one)
The bandit between Arkingthrand and Balmora, on the bridge (hate him, HATE HIM)
The people in the council club (I always do that early, so it kinda is hard to do).

I bet that you must have a hard time of doing such *strange* fighting.

I think Daogth Ur because he can always restore his health so well.

That was exactly for me the first time I meet him.

The hardest fight I ever fought was against the lich in the official expansion I forget his name. I was not at all prepared for him, you run around that whole expansion just slaughtering skeletons no problem then all of a you get an enemy with regenerating stats. I had to mark and intervention to the main land to refortify myself cause I broke all my weapons on him. Of course I can't remember what level I was at when I faced him.
